"Two days after Stephen Curry was on the business end of a screen from Spurs’ center Dewyane Dedmon that he deemed ‘dirty,’ the Warriors point guard was seen limping with an ice pack on his left knee following the team’s shoot around Monday morning.
According to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area, Curry admitted that the soreness in his knee was a result of a moving screen by Dedmon that took place in the fourth quarter of Game 3. Curry called the play dirty when speaking to ESPN Sunday.
“I know (Dedmon is) not a dirty player,” Curry told ESPN. “I’m not going to try to mess up his reputation, but I feel like that was a dirty play.”
Dedmon’s left knee drove into the thigh area of Curry on the screen, and was followed by what looked to be a push in the back that sent the two-time MVP to the floor. He was subbed out minutes later."
