He was horrible just jumpshooting. It didn't look like he competed. He was vastly outplayed by Anderson, Manu, and although he didn't score that much, I thought Murray was better, competed harder.
Lamarcus wasn't even the 3rd best Spur in a game that Pop played all his rookies and youngsters + 39 year old Manu.

Sure? No. He played really bad but nothing is certain in this Spurs' offseaon. They'll keep Simms? Trade LMA? Will resign Patty?

Theres a reason why SA was really interviewing Jaylen Brown hard a year ago. The only expendable piece they had to move that high was LA. Makes you think about what team they were talking to.
I wouldn't read too much into that. I remember the Spurs did that with Derrick Favors before he was drafted also.

I think Pop's comment on Curry accepting being the Superstar every night was also a shot at Softridge too.

Even Kyle was posting, demanding underneath the basket, and was disgusted when he didn't get the pass, showed more aggressiveness and fight than Softridge. This guy is gone. It's obvious how a mention of his name made Pops lost his cool in the interview. I don't think Pops would like to coach him another year.

I don't think Pop linking those two in any way tbh.

Every time I remember that Pels got Cousins for nothing...
Sacto really wanted Hield. It was an offer that Spurs simply could not match.

I really thought he turned a new leaf during the first half of game one, and he played exceptionally well in the close out game against Houston. I've never seen him play with some much confidence which has been missing ever since he got here. I thought he was on a mission during game one of the conference finals that he was going to tear the GSW small front court. Wow was I wrong after Kawhi went down. My money is that he back next season. I rather Gasol be gone than him anyways. I'm a bit encouraged by LA's play during that stretch that he may have found his spots on the floor when Kawhi is out there. If he sucks again next season he's going back to Portland, or replacing Dirk in Dallas anyways.

Aldridge : "I got mismatch kawhi!"
    Kawhi: "Just get the rebound"

    Highest paid player on team

The prestige of the Spurs organization is just too much for him. The FO, coaches, players, and fans expect and demand excellence. Aldridge just isn't the franchise guy we thought he'd be.

But I wonder why these things don't happen to us...Cousins for a rookie... Eric Gordon one of best 3-point shooter this season, signing for only 6M

So he sucked. The guy doesn't have a fight in him. Everybody's calling him out to be aggressive. There was a sequence in the 3rd qrt I think when Patty kept passing to him like 5 times in the post, instead of reposting he just kept on passing it back. What a loser.

What about that guy playing on Shaq in that pick up game. He was willing to battle in the paint. Can we trade for him?

Spurs are in deep next season, they gambled on two over-the-hill bigs and will pay for it next season.

no other team would want to pick up his contract... He is not bad as far as PF go, he's just not a 1st, 2nd option in our offensive schemes with this team..

Especially after what Manu gave for the last 15 years.

    Everyone saying he's a good 3rd option. that. He's a pussy. 8 ing points.

Get him off the team now.

i am willing to accept that he is likely back because you really are not going to get much back in return if you do find a suitor. the thing is that guy just has to get a role that he can accept and play to the best of his ability and that may just be to focus more on rebounding and put backs with occasional shooting. who knows, really?

Y'all being too harsh,we lost this series as soon as TP9 went down.Microwave and Dijon can't orchestrate the offensive sets.
Maybe just maybe if Kawow went HAM on GS we drag the series to 7 but he would've tired of the he load at the end

I'm just as pissed off, disappointed in his effort as anyone else and was calling for his head but damn, he keep getting double teamed , why didn't pop or the rest of the guys acknowledge this and come up with a follow up plan?
