He's to soft tbh, I'm tired of backing him up

We gotta get Bill Parcells to talk Pau into retirement.
Opt out and stretch and retire a Spur....
Horrendous signing..Basically, this Spurs era's McDyess level of TOSBness on a near max + ego..
PATFO got played..
Not according to some experts here, they say thats chump change, we cant discuss that.
I wouldn't worry about it. If they're inclined to upgrade the point guard position, they'd probably have no trouble salary dumping him on the Timberwolves (had interest a year ago; somewhat have a positional need considering Thibodeau's old school ways; are said to be seeking credible veterans; can absorb his salary into cap space).
They'd need another major move (salary dumping Parker, which would require attaching a future protected 1st) to even begin to get in the game for Paul, but could get away with him being the only significant salary casualty to get in the game for Hill.
Considering his previous season it wasnīt a bad signing in a very crazy market.
For spurts he was usefull out there, i donīt think it is an untradeable contract.
"He's a class act, and cultured"
Pau knew was opting-in before he even signed the he contract. He'd be dumb not to tbh.
Meh he's fine in the regular season, tbh. Old and a bit washed up, but he's productive against lesser teams.
Defensive issues aside, he would have been fine if he could have contributed on offense like he did with Chicago, last year, or during stretches of this season..
I don't know what happened to his offense vs. good teams, it became non-existent..maybe it was a lack of desire, who knows..he looked like 2016 Duncan in the playoffs..
Its called being an AARP member 36 yrs old, will do that players....... I cant see his beard getting any whiter than it already is, Look for him to be playing as Santa in a store near you..
He was missing chip shots and open looks during the entire playoff run, tbh..age makes your moves ineffective by reducing your explosion, but I don't know what happened to his shooting touch..
Hey, if he's going to stay at least Pop neutered him. He plays off the bench in a very limited role now and it's only one more year. He's traceable because of that as well.
No big deal either way and he can certainly be used in a trade to land Rubio which I would be all for.
Dude, a calendar year it's an eternity in "fan years". We just can't.
ugh, I rather keep Pau, tbh
God damn, I've never wanted a person off the team more than I do Pau. Definitely preferred RJ.
"...continuing to grow..."
He must be talking about his belly right? You're not going to fool anyone Softy.
Rubio is an upgrade from TP especially on defense and he's only got a 2 year deal and still young.
He's afraid to shoot, pass...
More to the point, he's an upgrade from Mills, and even more of an upgrade from a guy who's going to be out for 8 months to a year. We are going to need a starter level PG. While I like Murray, he needs more development, and Mills has shown he isn't a starter level guy...
He had his highest eFG% (.548) since the 2008-09 season however, his rebound ( possibly age related) and assist totals rank among his worst ever. I know it's a common theme to blame the player (RJ, Aldridge, Gasol) for lack of production rather than blaming the elephant in the room who likes to fit square pegs into round holes.
Love the avi, big dog.
