one.more.year
Just throwing it out there.
http://www.basketballinsiders.com/20...t-deal-points/. A team that elects to stretch a player’s salary for Salary Cap purposes will be not be allowed to re-sign or re-acquire the player prior to the July 1 following the last season of the player’s contract.
Tim, Manu and Parker off the bench tbh for 1 more year calling it farewell tour.
Off the Bench? I'd start TD over Dumpster Gasoline even at 40y/o.
5-10 minutes a game as the 4th big though? We're not giving him starter minutes after all. He'd basically be replacing Dedmon.
Replacing Dedmon is sitting on the bench the whole game.![]()
Which TD would in a lot of cases in the kind of role we're talking about. He might get 15-20 minutes on occasion against teams like Memphis, but not play much if at all against, say GSW. That's how it would go if TD did return... definitely not a starting role or even a 2016 role
Would be nice to see him play again but Timmy isn't coming back.
Would be nice to have the Big 3 back for one more year, retire, all go in the HOF in the same class.
1000x better than Kobrick stealing Duncan's shine and giving the last speech.
My question is, due to stretch provision, if Spurs had won championship this season, would Duncan have gotten a ring officially?
