First five minutes covers the Spurs

Don't think Chris Paul comes here unless Clippers tell him they won't pay him the super max. Interesting that Pippen says he won't fit.
A full health TP put us over the top, one of the worst, unluckiest injuries of all time.
Lol yes. When that outside jumper is working, it's a different offense.
Worst post ever.
I agree with Pippen tbh, it's another situation where I feel PATFO is just chasing a big name like LMA.
His team wouldn't have blown a 23 point second half lead in a playoff game, guaranteed.
TP was playing when 6 happened tbh.

6/23. Shot his team out of the game. What a warrior.![]()
If only Duncan had a chance to get det 18th reb![]()
I have to agree with that. Parker proved all spring that when the team wasn't playing well he could turn it on in the 4th quarter. He personally saved a few games. I don't know if we could have won the series without Kwahi, but the lineups wouldn't have been so makeshift and there would have been some direction to the offense.
Spurs don't need Paul, and I agree it's a lot like them chasing Aldridge. A bad fit for this team. Would much rather have Jrue, or give the keys to Murray and figure out a way to get rid of Aldridge and/or Pau to get more athletes and scorers on the perimeter.
Plus, I don't think Paul leaves the supermax on the table.
But TP didn't turn the ball over 8 times (Manu), didn't miss championship clinching free throws (Manu, Leonard) and didn't sit Tim Duncan for the final possession of regulation (GOAT). He did however, hit the game tying 3 with 1:27 left, got a steal and a lay up with :58 seconds left to give the Spurs the lead. But, but, 6/23

Are you kidding me? TP literally hit 2 late 3's to put the Spurs up.
Without Porker's god awful performance with 23 shot attempts to just 6 makes, the Spurs would have been a lot further ahead than they were tbh. Porker shot the Spurs out of the game. Fact. End of story.
Whatever overrated "heroics" he may or may not have done late in the game are irrelevant. I look at the full body of work.
So you don't take into account 2 steals, 8 assists (would have been more if Green could have knocked down shots) and 0 turnovers?what whole body of work are you referring to? Based on your post, it looks like FG attempts is the only thing you're taking into consideration.

This argument is a fail. If you're gonna blame TP for that, you have to also blame Manu for being a turnover machine and missing free throws in crunch time. You have to blame Kawhi for missing a game sealing FT.
23 shot attempts. It was straight up hero ball. And yeah Verde was an embarrassment, though Porker is partially to blame there, too, with his proclamation that Miami was just leaving him open tbh. And Porker was 4/12 in game 7.
Who said I didn't blame Manu? You're the one bringing us his off topic performance. At least he only shot five field goal attempts, though, tbh, and had a bounce back game in game 7 unlike Porker. And yeah Kawhi missed that freebie, but he had an efficient 22 points in the game. Meanwhile, Porker missed 17 shots and only made 6. Barely 25%.

Parker couldn't beat anyone off the dribble anymore prior to the injury...less of a chance now. If the Spurs are serious about competing for a championship the next two years, they need another all star to play alongside KL and LA.
Yeah, he had a lot of trouble against Conley and Gasol. Definitelty concerns on the defensive end but he was solid this playoffs offensively as Pop kept him fresh.
You talk about the supermax, but he's already filthy rich, and do the Clippers really have a legit shot even if they bring back Griffin as well? He's 32 years old and doesn't want to retire ringless.
I don't care how rich he is...if the Clips are going to pay him, there's no way he leaves that kind of money on the table.
At that age, ring is more important than an extra $50 million over 5 years.
