    We'll see if that booty hole is tight in California. If it's tight, real tight then State is doomed. But, if that hole is loose, real loose then State will prevail & James will be thwarted a while more.

    Best case scenario: Cavs win meaning Warriors have choked again, and have to eat more humble pie after acting like bags for the last 3 years and only winning one ring. Durant still ringless.

    Second best case scenario: Warriors in in 4 or 5 blowouts so people will see how made KDs move to GS was.

    The 2nd best case is lebron losing but still getting FMVP That would absolutely kill the warriors from inside.

    Nope. Fake News media including ABC - ESPN - Disney would endlessly promote their Durant as being part and parcel to the blowouts.

    Just need The LeBrons to eliminate these frauds.

    It is ilarious to see ESPN justifying that Lebron makes all these finals not because the Eastern conference is horrible, but because Lebron is so dominant.

    http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/page...-defeated-foes

    This is a scene that has played out repeatedly over the past decade. Teams at the top falling under James' sword or rising challengers smothered in the East, which he's won for the seventh consecutive year and eighth time in the past 11 seasons. James has conquered the conference like no one since Bill Russell, when the league was significantly different and there was no salary cap or free agency to act as a buffer to dynasties.
    Which teams were at the top? Pistons were 4 years removed from their last championship. Celtics were simply too old. Who else? And upcoming team? Like who? Pacers? I can't even think of another team with any potential in the East the last 10 years or so outside of Lebron teams. Just face it, Lebron's Eastern rivals were historically bad. Not saying Lebron is not a GOAT candidate, because he is, but stop with the 1984 style history rewriting. The only Eastern team Lebron destroyed were the Heat when he left them.

    The worst part is casuals eat this narrative up.

    The best player LeBron has stopped from getting a ring in the East is Carmelo Anthony

    tosb celtcs > tosb lakers
    bulls + mvp rose < okc
    atlanta 60 wins = clippers
    peak indiana > harden rockets
    heat =< mavs/spurs
    cavs = warriors
    new celtics > trailblazers
    raptors > grizzlies

    key players injured on both sides of the fence (love, kwahi, cp3, irving, paul george, kobe, etc)

    You narrative is funny but false, the conferences were about the same imo, lebron just played on the best team and everybody ran from the east or stayed in the west. If the east was so weak then a star like cp3/peak howard/ would've picked an eastern team and gave heat/cavs some compe ion. The smart ones didn't, while the dumb ones (carmelo) did. They were dumb because nobody wanted to come to compete in the east and their teams had to overpay, thus they were not compe ive. Basic market economics, a monopoly in a weak market is not a hard compe or under free trade rules.

    Jordan > Lebron tbh but stop it with the bull .

    The three peat lakers were definitely better than the Celtics.

    Raptors were and are horrible

    You left out the kings, mavs, Suns (not sure why you had thanmvs vs heat cuz lebron is on the heat).
    Warriors, jailblazers, clippers are all better than any eastern team lebron faced.

    The east has been horrible for years and the teams lebron was on has been ridiculously loaded by any standards since 2011.

    The only decent teams outside of lebron that were even remote contenders were the Celtics, and pacers. Maybe the bulls and that was it.

    I thought we were talking about east in the lebron era (2007 -> today), thus I didn't add 3 peat lakers, kings, suns. If you wish to extend to that date note that 2004-2005-2006 had some extremely strong indiana, pistons and heat teams. The pistons remain most in memory since the other two teams were either destroyed by the league (malice at the palace) or by injuries (peak wade, a still strong shaq, 'zo, etc). Still, it's pointless to discuss because with the 04-10 cavs rosters lebron had no business in being the finals, regardless of regular season record, which brings me to the final point : regular season record is quite misleading, especially for high pace western teams that apparently made the west tougher (suns/mavs sans a couple of seasons, denver, portland, yao houston) .. these teams had huge flaws and they were exposed time and time again, much like... say... today's rockets or (healthy) clippers or (peak) raptors.

    The real heavy hitters were the spurs, the pistons, the short lived peak suns/mavs/heat and then the 08-10 lakers and 08-10 celtics ... if you add the cavs you get exact parity numberswise, but lebron did it with some extraordinarily horrible rosters (either trash or washed up had-had-beens), I'm talking jamario moon, mo williams, sascha pavlovic, eric snow, corpse shaq, corpse antwan jamison, boobie gibson and the like, without picks .. that's a ing ny level roster.

    If you want to compare overall conference strength you have a point but rings aren't won by 5-8 seeds, so you got zero position on this one tbh.

    I thought you were comparing lebron compe ion vs Duncan or shaq compe ion.

    Point is lebrons got an easy path throughout. Thus able to make finals after finals.
