I don't know how they allowed Dedmon use his number tbh. Shame.
I was so angry with him due to his defense, but in that last series he played with us, he won me over against the Clippers. The guy play his heart out and tried his hardest to get us the series win against them. Even with his lack of defense, I think he was our 3rd or 4th best player for the Spurs in that series. I would have taken him back after that series if he didn't get so much money.
Hypothetical question - For the same amount of money, would you guys rather have Simmons or Marco?
I don't know how they allowed Dedmon use his number tbh. Shame.
Replace Evita with Ferrari and at least we dont have the worst playoff lerforming shooting guard in the playoffs
Bring back Ferrari
You tell me

“The first thing (I did) when I came here, I checked (out) Tim Duncan’s retired jersey number,” said Belinelli, who called San Antonio his basketball home for two years.
After signing a multiyear deal with the Sacramento Kings in 2015, he was traded to the Charlotte Hornets last summer. Though he no longer calls the Alamo City home, Belinelli, 30, still reminisces about two of the best years of his career.
Some people wonder why it never worked out in San Antonio. Fans think you should still be a Spur.
I know. A lot of people say that. The NBA, you never know. You can be on one team forever. You can change teams quickly. I mean, I was happy to stay here. I remember that. I think Danny (Green) was a free agent. Kawhi (Leonard) was a free agent. I was shocked at it a little bit.
It was like you came here, got a ring and then bounced.
(Laughs) I know, that’s crazy. I got the ring the first year, the second year we lost Game 7 against the Clippers. I still think if we would’ve won that game in L.A., I think we had a chance to win the championship that year, too.
one of the only few that actually fought hard that game 7 vs Clippers

Durant wanted the Thunder to sign him but he ended up taking a paycut to win with us (5.5M/2yr!!)
Even now his current contract is extremely friendly. Wouldn't mind bringing him back to replace Juice and Ginobili...
I would actually let Green go and keep Simmons and get Ferrari.
Can Green do anything besides get a small shooting streak or defensive streak every blue moon??
Time to let Green go
He was in a slump in the first few games... but he showed up when it mattered most - just the team didn't have Kawhi.
Well the same thing can be said a out Lamarsha.
Doesnt change the fact both had horrid playoffs overall
Marco showed me a lot in that Clippers series. He was almost desperate to do anything he could to get us the win in those latter games of the series.
Marco is a shooter and the spurs need those. Green was the worst player at shooting the open 3pt shot.
He shot great when covered bit the spurs offense generates more open looks than covered ones.
Plus he might be one of the best Ginóbili replacements.
I still don't like his defense.
I would seriously love PAFTO to find a way to bring him back. Even Pop said in 2014 that Marco won a lot of games for them during the regular season on his own.
6.6mil expiring is pretty good. Would Hornets take Green for Beli and Kaminsky? Throw in Christian Woods.
No... it cannot. LMA wilted when the stakes were higher...
he sure knew how to move without the ball and use screens and he had a consistent three, of course. but a hobbled wade is a lot different in terms of who to guard than clay thompson would be.
What do you mean higher?
Did they not wilt at around the same time? Did they not start playing better at around the same time?
Dude was cancer in 2014 playoffs. People give him credit for hitting a 3 after letting the other team go on a run.![]()
Good luck getting MJ to trade him for 2nd round pick...maybe sign/trade for Patty or Simmons
Mmm him and Tiago is the reason we anihilated the blazers are were fresh for OK. Tbqh
They both earned their les
No... Ginobili showed up for GSW. LMA was horrible all series long... or at least from the point when he was asked to be Option 1A. He was playing passibly adequate in Game 1 prior to Kawhi's injury
showed more pelotas than Lamarcus and I am not a big Marco fan.
But three things about him that are different from LMA:
he can shoot
he is not going to shy from the moment and not be aggressive
he can pass the basketball
Tell us how Kawhi is the second coming of Shaun Marion while you're at it.
That's one of those games TP getting hurt would have helped like game 6 in OKC in '14.
