It doesn't matter. They'll pay whatever tax they have to in order to keep all their players and still afford to stack themselves with one or two more ring chasing free agents.
This just in. Durant is also willing to take it up the ass. I guess the bay area is truly home now.

LOLOLOL
This say from $34 million to 30 million... lmmfao!!! 4mil is a serious pay cut huh!?! I hope Curry breaks both ankles after he takes so called less.. 4 lyfe
34m to 30m is more than a 11% paycut. Pretty hefty in all world's terms.
Multiply your current salary by .89 and see if you would not be ticked off on that new figure.
When you have other companies, an a major shoe deal... he ain't losing anything. He's clearly ok with losing heart an face. Talking about people joining the Heat...
He said he was sorry.![]()
Another failure on the NBA for not having higher maxes. This league![]()
Durant is going to piss off his fellow players. He's basically saying if you want to compete with our super team, you are going to have to give up money. But most will have to give up even more than him to form a super team under the new cap rules.
He's got a 350 million or so shoe deal that he just re-signed with Nike a couple of years ago. So he's got that on top of his upcoming contract. He'd also have a bunch of money for his previous shoe deal that expired a couple of years ago. Under Armour tried to sign him away for 300 million, but Nike had the option to match and they matched and gave him a bit more on top.
Yeah, that's another thing to consider. Players are going to like him even less. Hopefully, everyone ends up hating him.
They will all have to take cuts. You can't pay 4 guys 200 mil contracts..
R.C. Durant has shown the world- 'if ya can't beat'em join'em!' Go San Antonio Cavs!!
Guess the shoe companys will make up for what these guys take less.
DurAlpha doing what it takes to keep the Warriors on top.
Great team player.
Zaza deserves huge extesion
People should troll his twitter with his quote
Half the people on thus board wouldn't see their salary change. Zero multiplied by anything is still zero.
Must like the taste of steph's balls.
so about 4 million this says
Not sure Igodola is worth that.
with this cap? and with Danny making 10. he could probably make 10-15 on a team like minnesota
I do not doubt the team that drafted Flynn and Rubio over Curry would make that offer.
They don't need Thompson
or Green
or Iggy
or Livingston
