I'd rather get rid of Pau than DG but Pau's contract is harder to trade. There is some language in there that makes it more difficult to do so. TP is other most logical piece to be salary dumped. He's not going to play again. Pau is serviceable and fits in to the scheme of beating GS.

Having CP3 on the court will greatly improve the Spurs' other players, namely Aldridge. KL can reduce his workload with Paul on the court too. This is a no-brainer. Like I've mentioned before, the only hang up is his tendency to get weird injuries. Especially with his hands. His flailing around on the court annoys me to no end but he's compe ive as and a vocal leader. The Spurs desperately need someone to direct the offense. I think Manu would come back for a chance to play with him.

He's been on the team longer than Kawhi, not to mention he's also been a starter for longer as well, I still don't see the Spurs dumping Green, no matter how much TheGreatYacht wants it.

Spurs could go into the meeting in July with the pitch of "we're can add you to a team that won 61 games, went to a conference finals, and has a top 7 player in the NBA who just turned 26,".

Moving Gasol, Forbes, and a 2018 1st to LAC would allow Paul to have a starting salary of about $30.45 million -if i'm not mistaken. That would allow for the spurs to keep Green and still have the MLE, and LLE.

You shouldn't sell him on having a top 7 player on the team but rather a top 3 player in the league. Kawhi > Curry i'm just being honest.

Signing CP3 would accomplish that and we'd still be good enough to make it to the WCF Win or lose. That right there is all you can ask for, which is the oppurtunity.
So maybe next time ZaZa will be nice and take out CP3's ankle instead of Kawhi's. LOL Warriors took out the Spurs best player and they know it. Enoy your * NBA le San Francisco.

gutting the team would've been addition by subtraction.

moving parker's contract this offseason should be priority #1, thought that last summer too.

it is not immovable by a long shot. parker fans kept saying how no one would take him... but that he was invaluable to us

gilbert arenas got moved, so did joe johnson.

if i'm GM, tp is gone and we go from there.
happy with how little tony played tonight. the point is we could've had a higher caliber player at his pay scale.

Due to Gasol and Mills' deals this point is ever rarely brought up anymore. Tony was still earning $15 million this season...
