    That is the dumbest I've ever seen so it figures you would cite it without thinking

    You can count Duncan, Ginobili and Parker as HOFers and in their prime in '07 but 6-7 years later in '13 and '14 they were nowhere near their primes. Neither was Dirk in '11. Jason Kidd can be considered a future HOF too but he was in his 16th or 17 season in the 2011 Finals. Also, is Broussard counting Draymond "wide the open all the time" Green and Klay "just found my game after a month of sucking" Thompson as HOFers because that's the only way this math works.

    And just to show how listing HOFers doesn't mean jack when it comes to team play....the Lakers had 4 HOFs on their '04 squad. Guess what? They got their pushed in by a Pistons squad with NO Hall of Famers whatsoever and that same Pistons team took the '05 Spurs to the absolute limit. Jesus H. Christ the softness of the NBA has spread from the game to the commentators to the "analysts" all the way to the dumbass fans. It's just a complete fest now.

    This is the same moron who said that the Big Three Heat had no franchise players. I'm pretty sure he gets his opinions from Skip Bayless' Twitter feed

    To frame the Finals compe ion argument in another perspective:

    LeGOAT has always had to face the best players of his generation in the Finals. He's faced Dirk once, Westbrook once, Durbeta twice, Duncan and Curry three times.

    What's the closest analogue to that with DK? An aging, about-to-retire Magic? Chuck "The Choke Artist" Barkley? DK ducked Hakeem, didn't have to face Duncan in '98 and choked against Shaq in his own conference.

    LeGOAT would be salivating if he got to face teams led by the likes of Clyde Drexler and Gary Payton in the Finals. It would be like a vacation compared to who he's been up against.

    Lebron would get destroyed in yesterdays NBA tbh, hes not mentally strong enough, I dont think hed be able to handle the trash talk, and honestly im not sure If he would handle the physicality either, I know LeDoc is a big dude, but ive seen him drop one to many times from soft ass plays, so imagine him trying to go to drive to the paint on the bad boys, or the knicks or pacers, he would never come back again. Hed stand outside just trying to pass the ball. Whereas MJ attacked relentlessly. The only real challenge he faced with the players you listed was Duncan, and thats clearly because Jim is a system player in a very good system, and the sperms are better coached. They could of beat GS the first time, but they didnt. MJ stopped clyde, GP, Karl Malone, GP, Shawn Kemp ,Reggie Miller , Patrick Ewing, Barkley... please.

    He had his best shooting season that year, but he averaged like 21 or 22 with 7 Reb, not sure if thats a HOF season tbh, but in the playoffs he played like a GOAT , he averaged like 27/28 and showed LeBron what a clutch player really looks like.

    Parker was prime in '13 and tail end in '14. Duncan reverted to tail end in '13 and Nowitzki was tail end in '11.

    The gist is right though, it should be taken into account where players were at in their careers and whether they were a HOF on merit or cir stance/precedent.

    At Broussard counting players multiple times to pump up James. In reality . . .

    - Jordan faced 7 Hall-of-Famers in the Finals: Johnson, Worthy, Drexler, Barkley, Payton, Malone, Stockton.

    - James has faced 10 sure fire future Hall-of-Famers and 2 possible ones based on cir stance/precedent (Green, Thompson) in the Finals: Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Kidd, Nowitzki, Durant, Harden, Westbrook, Leonard, Curry.

    - James definitely faced stiffer Finals compe ion. Based on point differential and SRS, Jordan never faced a single team as good as '07, '14 Spurs or '15-'17 Warriors and I'd argue that '13 Spurs were better than '97 Jazz or '96 Supersonics . . . Finals can be overrated though because sometimes real Finals occurs in CSF or CF.

    No one in the NBA ever played an NBA game against a HOFer. It never happened.

    You should not be able to call someone a HOFer until they've been inducted. You can say "lock" or "future" but they shorten that and just give the person the honor without the vote.

    It's thrown around too much, and that's probably because people like Chris Webber are in it.

    How did they count 26? How in the world do they know who's going to make the HoF when the players aren't even retired?
    They must have used fuzzy math to get to 26 and making some assumptions (Kawhi, KD, Curry etc being HoFers). But they also are counting guys more than once since this would benefit Lebron a lot more than Jordan (only played Malone and Stockton more than once). Like since Lebron faced the Big3 3x that counts as 9 HoFers. If they counted Curry, Draymond and Klay as HoFers that's another 9. KD and Kawhi twice, then Westbrook, Harden, Dirk and Kidd = 26

    Realistically

    07 = Tony, Timmy, Manu
    11 = Dirk and Kidd at the tail end of his career
    12 = KD, Westbrook and Harden
    13 = Big 3, 2nd year Kawhi
    14 = Big 3 and Kawhi
    15 = Curry
    16 = Curry
    17 = Curry and KD

    So 11 HOFers.

    Even with that logic, there's still only 20, not sure where the other 6 are coming from. Draymond? Klay? Just not seeing it.

    Drexler, Magic, Worthy, Barkley, Payton, Malone Stockton were great players, and did they just double Malone and Stockton?

    I am actually surprised Divac didn't make the hall yet, he should be in just for his Cousins trade, but also for his international resume and being one of the pioneers of the European movement. He is a legend in Europe.

    Kemp was well on his way to the hall before he got bloated. he was at least as good as 07 Tony, 11 Dirk, Kidd, 12 KD, Westbrook and Harden, 13 Big 3 and Kawhi, 14 Big 3, and 15 Curry.
    KJ was on his way as well before all the injuries, I would take prime KJ over prime Parker, Manu, and Harden. Perhaps even prime Kidd.
    Then there are those players like Dumas, Hornacek, Perkins, Porter, Kersey, Majerle, Schrempt who were solid players (obviously no HoF material, but borderline all-stars during their times).
