Also pulled a Curry: faked an "injury" to deflect the criticism off his chokejob.
Irving was the big choker tonight. The worst player on the court when it mattered. Airball, turnover, swiss cheese defense when it mattered most. Didn't score in the 4th quarter, eh?
Also pulled a Curry: faked an "injury" to deflect the criticism off his chokejob.
He had a couple of bad shots, but Irving is far from the reason they lost. He still played well overall.
He played the same style as usual, but he was clearly limited, physically..
& Isiah Thomas last round
What about Kevin Love? I defended him when he was called a stat-padder on the Timberwolves, but now I realize that's he's nothing but a system player. He's not about winning when it matters.
To be fair, he's playing the most difficult role in the NBA, as Chris Bosh said when Love joined the Cavs..the ex-star that becomes the 3rd wheel is an extremely difficult adjustment(especially for Love, since his defense is useless, unlike Bosh)..
Kevin Love is the scrub, Irving at least tried.
But Love isn't their 3rd best player and never was. He's a glorified role player. Matt Bonner/Raef LaFrentz 90% of the time, Dirk the other 10%. Not enough.
all the games where lebron goes to the bench for a breather...
wtf does irving gets first option to iso ball circus shots? cant even buy a basket then gsw comes back biting in any cavs lead or momentum run
like game 5 when he kept on iso circus shots bricks, then lebron goes hard into the key for easy 2pts dunk, then next possession more iso ball from irving then jrsmith stupid long 3 chuck attempt just couldn't bite into the 8pts lead 4th quarter 7min mark.....should've just kept on feeding lebron attackin the key for easy pts, but no.. he kept on deferring to clowns who couldn't do in the 4th quarter
and lol playing korver and love together...
Agreed, it was a useless move that only paid during last season in the game 7 when he boxed Curry, besides that he only had a couple games against scrub teams, no wonder Minny never had even a playoff appearance.
JR Smith shouldn't be dissed. I think he was 7/8 from three. But the rest of the guys sucked ass including Irving when it mattered most.
Shumpert, Kardashian, Korver, Ty Lue and last but hardly least TwinkyRef.
Sure Irving had his bad moments but please.
As noted, looked more injured then the usual end of season dings.
Everybody but LeBron and Kyrie were inconsistent AT BEST this series. Trying to pin this loss on Irving is ridiculous, considering the fact that no other teammate could string together two decent performances in a row (except J.R. Smith, who was terrible in the first 3 games).
irving was injured excuse? yet has no problem iso ball circus shots every possession down the court? roflmaoo go back to making uncle drew bs yt videos, that doesn't work in the nba in elimination games or 7 game series...
clown was exposed, could get his stats any minute, but cant get them when game is on the line...empty stat no impact on outcome of the game
HH knows this: They all played their normal games. They just didn't play those games as a team.
This is how the team works. They don't have a coach who knows anything about basketball. They dump to Lebron on every trip and live with whatever he can create. If JR Smith wasn't red hot they would have been blown out by 25 early.
He didn't look right in the first two games, showed up and s ed out in games 3 and 4, then looked like he was finally worn down to a nub in game 5. He played B+ to A- ball for the most part. The blame goes to Love, and the Cavs' bench. The corpse of D-Williams,Korver, and Jefferson.
Dont forget Tristan and S pert............they both shat the bed.
Tristan couldn't rid himself of that Kardashian stink. Shumpert rocking the jail yard french braid went back to his high top fade but it was too late. R.I.P Bron and his band of Cavs.
