Patton, Inigbogu, Adebayo
Who do you want to see the Spurs choose in the draft that's a realistic possibility? Pick your top three choices.
I have in order Bolden, Evans, White.
Patton, Inigbogu, Adebayo
at this point its probably Bell, Frank Jackson, and Josh Hart. Many of the intriguing prospects either dropped out or moved up. Would love for the Spurs to buy a second rounder from Orlando or Philly and take either Jackson or Hart and take Bell with the 29th pick
Not bad, tbh. Wouldn't be upset with any of these. I'd add Wilson, Hart, and Bell to that list.
Wilson
AP
Bell/Hart
I like Bell's defensive versatility.
What does it matter? We all know our first round pick will be some Euro name Kmyrskticicisk or something and we may never see him in a Spurs jersey.
OG Anunoby
Josh Hart
Deonte Burton
Ojeleye
Adebayo
Hart
Bell
Wilson
Adebayo
Hoping they draft a big.
David Robinson
Tim Duncan
Lawhi Keonard
tbh
Trade Pau for Lonzo
This is what I would say.
Spurs have to score on a big this draft. That's where the value is at where the Spurs are picking. You can get a wing with the same skill set/potential at 59 I.E Josh Hart (at 29) vs. Jabari Bird/Bacon.
The reason I say Spurs have to score a versatile big is because one should be there and after next year there's a lot of uncertainty. Lee, Dedmon, Pau and probably LA will be gone.
Spurs have depth at the wing for the future w/ Kawhi, Green, Hanga, Simmons?. They shouldn't reach and get a wing and no, Derrick White isn't attractive. He doesn't have the athletic ability or motor to give him the type of ceiling you're looking for.
Bell
Wilson
Adebayo
Get one of those three and I'm happy.
My alternate is Cam Oliver.
As much as I appreciate Green's value I think the Spurs will trade him in the offseason. I like that Wilson has fast feet on defense....apparently he's not a follower either. He wears throwback shorts.
Even if they trade him, there's similar value at 59 for wings than there will be at 29. There's not a significant gap. Value isn't there for wings late in 1st. You might can get Jabari Bird, Bacon, or Sterling Brown at 59.
Ojeleye, Ferguson, and Wilson look interesting, they may be a little higher than the Spurs can pick. 2nd pick I like Blossomgame and Canyon Barry, just kidding, but really Canyon Barry.... nah, I'm kidding
Bell is probably the only player listed that should be on the board when we draft. Adebayo has jumped and Parsecknicks will probably be in the top 20
For our second round pick, I hope Iwundu falls to the Spurs. Long, fairly athletic wing seems like he could be a 3 and D player and has plenty of experience in the pick and roll as sort of a point forward.
#1 C - Isaiah Hartenstien
#2. G - Josh Hart
#3 The best one on one defender in the draft. Reguardless if he can shoot or not. We need some that can shut down Steph Curry and others. The scoring can be made up by others.
Why were the Spurs able to find Kawhi Leonard, but can't repeat the process.
What are the chances of any second rounder making the team anytime soon?
Hanga... This year.
Bryn Forbes made the team. Laprovittola made it and he was . Might not be room in the rotation but there will be room on the roster.
Brcause Kawhi was picked at #15, and SA has had no pick higher than 20 in the Duncan era, and most fall between 10-15 picks lower?
