I'm just not seeing your analogy. Clinton was damaged because she should have been charged and was let off the hook. If Trump is cleared it was because he actually didn't obstruct justice, no one is letting him off the hook as he's not in a protected class like Clinton.
I only said to fire Mueller if he or his team is doing the leaking, and it would still be terrible optics for Trump even if comlletely justified.
