Never liked 6-5 thooting guards. Although this dude looks like he hits the boards pretty good. Summer League invite I hope.
Just heard over on Aztec Mesa board that Jamaal Franklin is working out with the Spurs. Any info would be appreciated.
My favorite Aztec next to Kawhi.

Expound please.
He did everything at SDSU except shoot the 3 pointer. His last year, they ran the offense through him, and his position was PF. If they think Simmons is gone, there aren't many better options for a cheap development project. He's almost 26, but unlike Simmons at that age, he has some NBA experience.
If he has matured and improved his shot he'd be a guy to look at. Athletic and played out of position a lot in college because it was needed. His numbers looked good in the Chinese League, he's easily better than Jimmer...
Why are you repeatedly posting that cannot be played man? I wanna watch!
I agree.![]()
Mah bro. How you been man?

Minus the space
Jamall Franklin height 6'4" wingspan 6' 11 1/24". standing reach 8' 7 1/2"
Jonathon Simmons height 6' 4 1/2" wingspan 6' 7/12" standing reach 8' 5 1/2"
Effing word. I make massive coin being an alcoholic. And then drink lots of medicinal tea everyday. No idea if that works.
I really like the fact that he was Kawhi's teammate - assuming they got along.
The Spurs took LJC because of a Tony Parker recommendation. I hope Kawhi is a better judge of talent. I don't know anything about him, TBH, but I do know that guys get protective of college teammates.
Still, if the Spurs are going to find a sleeper, it means someone that nobody else is really high on.
Manu is 6' 5".
That's about the only 6-5 SG I could think was an exception. Other than that even historically ... nada. All specialists/ journeymen. Even Fat Lever came to mind... I thought he was 6-5 but was actually only 6-3.
Not sure what you're getting at. Simmons is not some all-star. Love the guy and root for him... hope he becomes that good but really he is just a bench player. Good game every now and then.. like role players do. Right? Now if you're talking point guards like that then that's totally different. Like Murray.
Manu is 6-6. Just watch any game and compare him to any 6-6 dude. He ain't that small.
Just a random sampling
Dwayne Wade 6' 3 3/4"
Tony Allen 6' 3"
James Harden 6' 5"
JJ Red 6' 4
Tyler Johnson 6' 4"
Jamal Murray 6' 4"
None of these guys have Franklin's wingspan. Height isn't what would keep him out of the league.
No way is Tony Allen only 6'3
