She probably didn't strike you as far left because you are far left. She ran on an immigration plan that basically eliminated any distinction between Mexican and American citizens. I get being against the wall, but she was open borders, which is far left. On abortion, she favored no restrictions and supported partial birth abortions, which is far left of mainstream. And then she ran on iden y politics (vote for me bc I'm a woman) and iden y politics is a creation of the far left. Yes, her husband was a moderate dem, but she was not. And she was the one that wanted government run health care back in the 90s, which is also a far left pet project. Im not sure why you don't know her platform. Maybe because you don't live in Arizona, where she was campaigning instead of the rust belt.
