Danny a very good friend of LeBron... If we cannot get CP3 let's at least hold on to Danny... I see many of you wanting to trade him...
Danny is cheap and worth 10mil a year. Maybe one day we can see LeBron and Danny dancing on the end of the Spurs bench once we beat GS by 20 someday.

I was being funny/sarcastic, but one of the rumors here is that Danny is traded to clear space for CP3 so I definitely see Danny signed to a contender once he's a FA again
The good news, as long as nothing crazy changes, there are no contenders that can offer Danny more money. CLE is way capped out and will remain so. GS is going to be mega capped out after paying Curry and KD and Draymond.
I think when he's past 30 if his shooting doesn't bounce back he's getting less to play for a contender (if he's not inn the Spurs)... Dude did sign for his prime years at below market value.
Danny values winning obviously. No way he spends his last useful years of his career in some dregs team. He's not aiming for minutes like JSimms to shine and get the big contract at that point.
Which means SA will be the best spot. Both money and winning.

If he is traded for CP3? Nah. We are taking the future here. I would not assume he'd be back. Spurs have probably moved on by then... did you not read my hypothetical?
Oh - didn't know you meant if he were traded. I'm operating under the assumption he will not be traded and then he will be a free agent while with the Spurs
Green shouldn't be en led or expecting anything imo. Spurs picked him up when he was a nobody and although he did his thing in '13 and somewhat in '14 he has been nothing more than a solid wing defender for the Spurs since. He's still useful for us but if the Spurs have the opportunity to upgrade at his position I say go for it and place him as a sixth man ala Manu imo.
It's actually quite possible he's traded if there's any real FA joining ... at least those were the rumors... But no FA may be joining after all this is all speculation.
