Agreed, but that just ain't the Spurs' style.
It needs to be for something. I don't want the Spurs to Splitter him.

Parker going to sit with CP in the room and be the main recruiter and some here were thinking Spurs will jettison him..
It better be for Chris Paul with Simmons taking over his spot or we're somehow getting Avery Bradley.
HA HA HA HA!!!
this right here
people thinking Spurs are going to lure CP3 away while turning their back on one of their most important players in franchise history and salary dumping him in his last year. that'll really show CP3 what a great team Spurs are
Parker and Chris Paul are close friends IIRC..
The Spurs need all the help they can get to sign CP3..whether the residents like hearing it or not, it's still San Antonio we're talking about here, it's not LAthe selling point is going to be culture and winning..taking care of Parker is part of that..
$35 mil/year for CP3 and $15 mil for his backup who's out until January probably. It would be ing idiotic to have $50 mil tied up for the same position. (if it were to happen)
Danny should get us something decent. His deal is good and defense elite.
Not a fan if this is to clear space for George Hill
i dont think anyone disagrees spurs should and would be better served trading TP instead of green or anyone else. We all know this. but anyone with a ing brain that watches the spurs and has been a longtime fan knows that is not how they operate. There is a reason his name has not ONCE popped up in trade rumors
And watch them re-sign Mills on top of it.
But , could have used more guards last month.
That 2013 Finals run was something else. I have never seen a more impressive shooting display considering the cir stances, let alone from a Spurs player. Glad he got his record, sucks he didn't get his Finals MVP.
Still has been a huge asset for the Spurs since then. His defense is still there, but his shooting has declined...and makes him a very limited offensive player.
He has probably one of (if not the) highest valued contracts on the team...so it makes sense to move him for the right piece. With emphasis on that last part...if Spurs ship Danny Green, they obviously have something cooking.
Neither him or Parker belong on the team anymore but he's the odd man out. I've been saying it all along. #truthbomb
Chris Paul negotiated the ing CBA to give himself an advantage, financiallyhe's taking every single dollar available..Spurs better clear out all the space they can clear, he isn't taking a discount to play in SA..
Do you s think giving Parker 15 million a year for the past 3 years along with massively overplaying him was not enough?Parker and Chris Paul are close friends IIRC..

have to "take care" of him
yet another season?
Bull .
I didn't say I support it, it's just reality
I would have traded Parker 3 years ago, from a basketball POV..
Looking forward, Parker, murray(real minutes), cp3 will now quadruple the amount of people who could dribble from last years playoffs, which was pretty much just Kawhi.
CP3 should think twice if he's gonna lose an asset for porker.![]()
El Tri. All of my in-laws follow Mehico futbol. I'm more of a Rugby guy, myself, so I'm getting them into following the All-Blacks.
They all support the Spurs though. Except for one brother-in-law who is a Lebron fan... 2014 was very sweet indeed.
Avery Bradley would fill the defensive void, but I don't think he would supply the shooting we need. Besides I don't think we are getting Bradley.
