He would need to apologize to Kyle first for getting in his face for no solid reason.
A mid first rounder and #29 gives them a lot of flexibility. Swap both to move higher - maybe Sactown's #10. Or keep the mid first for the targeted draft pick and use #29 to swap for a couple of early 2nd rounders (Orlando?). If we really are signing Paul we will need some cheap contracts more than ever. Or maybe we draft one or two stashes to eke out more cap room. I could even dream of a blockbuster for Porzingis.
It just occurred to me while taking my dog out the smokescreen could be for Aldridge. Again I hope to be wrong but dude was a bag of in the playoffs and not just against GSW... I don't think Spurs ring while they feature him... or he will have to be carried.
Maybe, but I think this is pretty straightforward: they take a shot at Paul and failing that, turn to Hill or maybe Holiday.
Wouldn't that be something. What if they were in love with Fox or someone like that as a PG. Maybe they see Murray as a SG/combo guard 6MOY type.
Who knows. If Danny's traded it signals big changes though. They are only doing that if they are pursuing serious talent upgrades IMO or if they think they got the next Kawhi in a Hill for pick type deal.
What can we realistically get back for LMA while also lowering the salaries? mid 10's pick? And then who will play the 4? Bertans? Kyle? naaah...
That would fit the Spurs' MO.
I am not the only dreamer here, I see.![]()
In truth I love Murray, and I have been advocating for months to give him the keys, but he would make a lot of sense as a combo.
You shouldn't hope to be wrong on that. Aldridge played like a heartless pussy in the playoffs. He is not a true Spur. I want him gone. I'm sick and tired of catering to his needs. He is getting paid $20 million and can't even produce like a solid 2nd option. He refuses to adjust his game or work hard at it. It's time for him to go. This team is not winning a championship as long as he is part of their "big 3."
Yeah, But none of them is really a shooter.
Aldridge has a trade kicker iirc, might make it a little harder to move him.
At 12 and I don't see any Kawhi's or Klays. Maybe Ferguson or Mitchel.
Swap LMA, Kyle and the two firsts for Porzingis. Then you have great cap space for Paul plus another FA.
With Rose off the books, could NY absorb LMA's contract?
LMA officially on the block, says Twitter.
Should still trade Porker, TBH...
Kaboom es.
If it's true, then we're definitely making a run at CP3.
But we do create two huge gaps in the roster, while the most and third most paid players will play the same position. logic..
Makes sense since he's opting out next year.
Is he worth a top 5 pic?
Would The Lakers take Aldridge?
