    If a smokescreen is the reason, then it could also be a way to up the deals for LMA. Teams might be trying to hold out for little more than cap space. If the Spurs have an alternate way to get the cap space, it will may teams pay up if they want Aldridge.

    Hope they can turn Green into a high pick (12 seems most likely?) and take John Collins or Donovan Mitc .

    Hope they cut ties with Parker also. Now that would be something. But doesn't seem likely.

    If Spurs plan to keep Parker as a backup for CP3 it's not a bad idea. Imagine Curry having to chase around CP3 and Parker on the court at the same time, lol. That is if the Spurs can sign CP3.

    Who is going to trade for Parker with his injury and age? It would be nice if he stepped down and faded off into the sunset but he is in the business to make money not give it away so Spurs fan can be placated with a replacement. Like it or not he is staying and cashing the checks.
