It's also a ty draft. Long and medium term prospects, few game changers.
Disagree. I think this draft has a lot of studs -- esp in front court that can be very valuable and versatile role players for teams like the Spurs.

If SA can trade LA to get space and to get a top 15 pick in return, then use that space for CP3 and use the pick for John Collins or Bam Adebayo. That's a huge win for tomorrow and for the next 4 years.

Then if SA can use the 29 to Jordan Bell? Or trade Danny for a late 1st to get Jordan Bell and use the 29th to get Josh Hart or a draft/stash. That's a huge huge win for tomorrow and the future IMO.

I'm one of those also who feels meh with the talent in this draft but a lot says it's a deep draft. Let's see.
Just wanted the Spurs to draft a quality player in the late 1st and 2nd round.

I think lma to the wolves makes a ton of sense, I could also see the kings trading 10 for him because well they're the kings.

On the contrary, if the spurs think LMA can fetch a lottery pick in a supposed deep draft, He should feel pretty good knowing he's that valuable.

LMA is absolutely worth the 10 for the Kings. Do you think Luke ing Kennard is ever going to be close to as good as him?

BS picks are only potentially valuable, while Spurs are saying that LMA is actually not that valuable.

Meh it's what he gets for being out of shape to camp the last two seasons. Shows you gotta work hard to last long on the Spurs.

There hasn't been a sure-fire draft since Oden-Durant and one of those players sucked. The last 'sure thing' draft was Wiggins-Parker and both those players suck balls as stars.

Fact is, the NCAA has been turning in crap and the league is suffering for it. There have been no stars for years.

That and Pop saying dude needed to do more in the WCF. He kinda folded and didn't respond to the challenge.

I don't know exactly what was discussed prior. However SAS spoke with a number of sources last night. He said that LMA wants off the Spurs team "bad". He felt his productivity was compromised joining the Spurs and his perception of a player around the league has been damaged. It sounds like he will not be on the team for this upcoming season, I guess the spurs are aggressively trying to get something done. He mentioned that Melo/PG13 trade could happen since they are considered "distressed" assets.

Stephen A Smith pretty much said LaMarcus wants "out in the worst way" and that he feels the Spurs "compromised" him. Pretty blaming the Spurs for his shortcomings. SAS pretty much said he "had some nerve."

Hes getting traded,no doubt, if what SAS says is accurate.

Surefire meaning the perception of the draft. Sure we knew KAT was going to be good but no one knew who tf Porzingod was at the time.

Its actually pretty good timing that he wants out. Alot of possibilities and deals that can be had. Porzingis/PG13/Melo/Top 5 pick. It will be a intresting day no doubt. I would love to do a Green/Aldridge deal for PG13, only issue is if it bolts to Lakers after this year. But if we could add PG13 and CP3 this offseason, that would be a pretty amazing core.

KAT hasn't done a goddamn thing. Used to be players transformed a team instantly. You compare him to Chris Paul coming out? Dwyane Wade? No ing way.

I don't count Porzingis because he wasn't hyped at all and still doesn't make wins.

I have a feeling Spurs are unlikely to get a high pick...something like Mirotic/Portis + 16th for LMA seems more reasonable, although i have no clue if the salary even works there. but i have my doubts a disgruntled aldridge with his garbage playoff performance is going to net a top 10 pick
