Rose stuff sounds like nonsense. He isn't a Spurs type player.

I would lose my mind if we get DET Boi Jackson. Guy would instantly give us the best perimeter D in the league. WINGSTOP on steroids.

Blech. I guess he'd be an upgrade over Mills but would cost twice as much.

Yep I see him being the most likely option to come here. Lol at the chris Paul pipe dreams.

You would keep him over moving him to NY for Porzingod?

We'd have our new SG for the next decade...of course you'd take that, imo.

Maybe I'm biased but I'm high on Jackson, tbh.

Hill has long desired to reunite with Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich since 2013, when he re-signed with the Pacers, who traded him to the Utah Jazz last summer.

Hill still maintains a residence in San Antonio, and frequently works out at the team’s practice site when in town.
The Spurs selected Hill 26th overall in the 2008 NBA draft. The team then traded the point guard, who is constantly labeled as one of Popovich’s favorite players, in 2011 to secure the draft rights to Kawhi Leonard, Davis Bertans, and Erazem Lorbek.

League sources told the Express-News the Spurs have yet to make any contact with Hill regarding a potential return, but expect the team to do so once free agency begins July 1.

I'm fine with Hill in a vacuum, but for the amount of money he's likely looking to get paid... no.

If we managed to get him on a discounted deal, then I'm all for it. Would be a big upgrade over Parker, already has familiarity with the system, etc.

No but I wouldn't be upset if that deal didn't get done either. Jackson is pretty damn good consolation prize.

I'd rather keep Aldridge than sign Hill to a 4 year deal.

just sign livingston for 2 years instead of hill for 4 or 5. he'd cost a lot less.

Then who'd be the starting PG? The reason SL is still producing is because of his role in GSW. Here in SA, he'd have to do a lot more and the results won't be the same.

Overpaying George Hill would be a pretty big bummer considering all the big-name chatter this offseason, but it's much more likely than any other FA out there imo. He fits a need and PATFO already love him. Seems much more likely than CP3 or anyone else tbh.
