Don't see Pop getting jazzed over Kackson. Why are people so high on Johnson?
How not to be an intellectual coward:

His points and rebounds are down ~20% from the 23 and 10 he averaged his last two years in POR.

To be fair, Manu4tres was very adamant he had to be traded last season b4 Spurs were in this exact situation...
wait what? Pau is opting out to get a longer contract with the Spurs. For every one mentally weak player that wants out of the Spurs system, there's 10 others that got fat contracts out of it and flourished. Plus, if you think it's damaging you probably haven't watched the Spurs enough to know that Richard Jefferson got the same treatment.
I like the Paul George talk... boosts LMAs value. Pretty much what happened with Parker and Hill
He's worse than Kyle offensively. Kyle's thing is getting in spectator mode often, not a lack of ability. Johnson is a tremendously strong athlete with no skill whatsoever.
He is young though, but I think a long term project. I haven't been impressed by him.
Hope they dont trade for a white American...
Preaching to the choir.
Projects we ready have.
I didn't say his stats weren't down you coward. I said for you to explain WHY his stats were down. Any idiot with a computer can look up a website and see his stats, dim. I'm asking for a detailed thesis on why his numbers are down you back peddling swine coward blowhard.
I never said there was a reason. If I were to say that "there is a reason his numbers are down" then you would have a point. Unfortunately for you, I did not. Look up what a strawman is and educate yourself a bit.
My assertion was that his numbers were down. I proved it. No it was easy but that is besides the point. I am not the one making specious claims.
As for unreasonable standards, when I asked you to justify why you think that the Spurs could have done more in the offense to help him I named half a dozen specific things they did to help him. I am not asking you to do anything that I am not willing to do myself.
Instead we get your typical halfassed analysis that you whine about when asked to justify it.
TIM with a good take. Have to give credit where it's due. Except I don't think Green sucks but he's a roleplayer that is enhanced playing with stars and when he has opportunity to get rhythm. He didn't get many with LMA.

I mean, it kind of is. It's a great opportunity to reset and quickly rebuild, but it's a big change. Especially if you trade Danny too.
That would be no LMA/Pau (maybe)/Danny/Mills (most likely)/Manu (maybe)/Dedmon/Lee (most likely) for some unknowns and a lot of cap space with no guarantee of replacing the talent you lost immediately with better talent.
The potential is damn good though especially you get a lottery pick for LMA and a first rounder for DG. 3 first round picks (including 1 lottery pick) + $45-50M in cap space to replace LMA/Danny/Dedmon/Pau?
I'm capable now and then.![]()
Wow... I'm trying to remember seeing you this riled up.
I'm not. I'm mocking him for how he talks to people. He seems to think I care enough to go into detailed breakdowns for him when he's just an annoying idiot.
He asks for the most ridiculous things (Prove to me with examples exactly how what you say is true - when it's painfully obvious he's just ignorant on the subject).
It all goes without saying. It's what the Spurs need to do in order to contend on the fly.
As I've said before, last year was that team's last chance. We have the second best player in the world and some decent pieces. The Spurs are in a good spot to rebuild on the fly.
Lol... right on. I was sitting there thinking- This is getting weird.
it's like that time he couldn't get on the rides at Disney world because of the height requirements
It would be dope, if SA is blowing it up anyways (to a degree) for SA to get Paul George.
I agree. I'm more for trading LMA and DG than just trading DG tbh..at least that allows a full reset and custom build + getting a lot of the youth pipeline likely filled up (with a possible lottery level talent where SA doesn't miss)
HA HA HA HA! What? He's short? You've hung out with the Deeps?
In another thread, he said that Spurs could have done more to help LMA. Another poster and I asked him to explain that. I went on to explain how they used staggered screens, pnr, weakside motion, backpicks, and misdirection to help him get post position.
Now he is taking this routine about how I am stupid and don't understand the offense when it should be self evident to explain his inability to explain himself. I've since got bored with it and moved on but he still maintains feelings apparently.
He does not like it when I describe his takes as facile analysis I guess.
