Since Cavaliers have no assets for Green (obviously, Love would be overpay and Osman underpay), it would clearly have to be 3 team trade, but Spurs would be foolish to trade Green to Cavaliers period. If they're all in on Paul, then goal remains to contend for championships and helping either 2nd or 3rd best team wouldn't aid that.
With the Aldridge news, Green supposedly still being available tells me it's less about cap space and more about not wanting to pay his next contract. He'll obviously seek a raise and they'd be paying it in his decline years. Trading both and getting picks and prospects to add to Leonard, Murray, Bertans and 29 helps with future obviously, but good luck selling Paul on roster with one star/prime player and a bunch of guys who are either too old or too young.
Not surprising, LeBron loves Green and they desperately need defense..
Green probably wouldn't be against it(despite loving SA), too, LeBron elevates role players like nobody else in the league other than maybe Chris Paul..
