White can defend. You don't avg that many steals and blocks with defensive instincts.
    You could for Colorado.

He must've had a tremendous workout for the Spurs.
The Spurs trust their metrics and the results of the players they workout. I know that
Gary Neal was signed almost entirely based on his workout.
    Curious pick, nonetheless.

Most mock drafts had him about where the Spurs drafted.

The Spurs weren't going to improve in 2017-2018 through the draft. Back to the Free Agency route it is.
I feel like I've read this post the past 3 drafts

The only way I can like this pick is with a damn good screener. I am talking the brick wall kind of screener. He is going to need help attacking. Get some meat to lay out his defender and it is at least salvageable on offense. On defense it seems he is a bit of a question mark. He does seem to be in position quite often. I just wonder how he is battling through screens.

Steal. He's going to be a monster defensively imo. Doesn't need to score for them. And they got him for $3.5M... joke.

Yeah, let's compare him to last year class. Even better, let's compare him to John Stockton's 24" vertical
