People get Amico confused with Sam Amick, who is well connected. Know the difference.
At least Love would exert effort, and he wants to win.
And he's younger and in better shape than LMA.
Oh yeah, and according to the Doctor's post, he wants to be a Spur - unlike LMA.
And last year's LMA is still a much much better defensive player. His best skill is shooting. Id rather roll out Bertans for a fraction of the price.
Hope Danny doesn't feel bad that the first time we put him on the trade block we only get a call from a team with no GM that has nothing to trade.
We are gonna get Tristan for the D.
Apparently, the Spurs had a high asking price for him. I have a feeling all three of Green, LMA and Parker will be on the block for a while until something happens. Only way to counteract the drop from teams knowing you have to trade somebody is to increase the uncertainty.
To be clear, I'm not saying I want Love. Just that right now, I'd take him over LMA who's clearly done in San Antonio.
How about a three team trade? Send Danny and LMA to Cleveland, send Love to Indiana and send Paul George to the Spurs.
That way Cleveland will only be on the hook for a year or so with both those contracts if Lebron bolts, they can get rid of LMA and Danny relatively quickly if it doesn't work out. Indiana get a white guy that can shoot and Spurs get Paul George to pair with Kawhi and George Hill or (long shot) Chris Paul.
The funniest thing I have heard is they're calling Danny a 2-way player.
Thanks for sharing that....![]()
Your trade won't work. If Cleveland sends Jefferson and Edy Tavares to SA. It works. It might work with a sign-and-trade for Korver instead of and Edy.
Wilbon saying that the Sixers are too young to win, and they need some older hands to show them how to win in the NBA (basically how to avoid off-court pitfalls, too). I think the Spurs could help them out.
Actually Tavares could be sent to the Pacers and SA would get Jefferson....who hopefully would retire (maybe with the stretch incentive).

Cleveland wins that trade easily .. with LeBron I do think LDN bounces back... lasoft beta at least plays defense and can take jumpers all he likes... I'd like P.George but I am frankly afraid if he doesn't want to be here then it's cancer part 2 but younger, with an ego, etc...
Was thinking the same thing when I heard that. Wonder if they'd flip us a young asset for Dannu like AP or Bolden, or, and I know this isnt popular, Okafor as a stop gap for when LMA leaves.
I think that's what we're all hoping, except I don't think they also need to include Green to make saray work.
LMA to Cavs
Love to Pacers
George to Spurs
No to freaking Kevin Love. He would be as bad as LA.
Hehe when he's shooting above 40% from 3 and running off the ball to get looks he is. He's not a creator or anything but when he's shooting well he's certainly impacting the offense positively. There wasn't much of any off the ball movement in a LMA offense. it killed Danny's game... LMA being such a poor passer also didn't help anyone respect others off the ball as much. It didn't matter bc for a good motion offense you need the shooting, the off the ball movement, but also the good passing.
Pasecnicks, Bolden, and Lessort for Green.
Can stash two of them and bring over Pasecnicks.
Pretty good trade in terms of young ,cheap, talent for Green
Unless the Spurs have a guy stealth-scouted in Europe, we will need a stop-gap. Tbh, anybody we get now will be a stop gap.
That would be awesome, but probably too rich for Philly. Maybe two of those dudes.
Yes we would sour on him quickly ... about Pau Gasol like defense ... I think.
