Would the Jazz trade Rudy Gobert for LMA and 29th pick straight up
It's fine if you don't know how to post tweets, Amico is full of anyway. He's a bad source.
Would the Jazz trade Rudy Gobert for LMA and 29th pick straight up
Realistically LMA had no chance against GS by himself after Kawhi went down, but it's been sensationalized so much that i don't think he has much trade value left. Any team that takes him will be seen as the loser.
I would have been okay with keeping him another year, but after everything that's happened, I only hope we get something in return.
Great.
The Zaza injury really ed us over. The narrative would be so much different if we were the only team to go 7 games and/or beat the Warriors.
Zaza/Lee Injury.
portland gets the last laugh after all.
you lma, go put up stats on a loser team
Wow so what can we get with LMA/White package?
If Sacramento is/was ever interested in LMA, I would do a Justin Jackson for LMA deal.
He didn't have to be so passive ... roleplayers outplayed him. In general that wasn't his only bad series. Except one good game against Houston he was horrible against them. ... he was terrible against Memphis too.
I appreciate d all the other blue collar stuff he did, his defensive development etc... but after how cancerous he's turned out, he got to go.
Realistically he shouldn't have been shut down by the likes of James Harden and Steph Curry in the post
LMA actually played very well in that game before Kawhi got injured. Had Kawhi not gotten injured, we may have headed back to San Antonio 1-1.
I hope they just keep him.
It's obvious the return for him just isn't there.
Just play with him. He'll opt out anyway, and the good news is it's a contract year.
He'll get over it and still play. He's just an emo baby, remember how he got rid of social media because of one bad game against GS? He left Portland because he was jealous of Lillard. He's a clownish fool, but he'll get over it enough to play it out and leave.
And if there's any problems, then it's on Pop to smooth things out and be the players coach that everybody loves and keep a lid on things.
Even a disgruntled Aldridge gives the Spurs a better chance to win than any of the crap proposals I've read. Gorgui Dieng, adding Green to get Shump, all the other crap. Not worth it, just roll with it and get the cap room, especially if they're dumb enough to keep Parker, that'll guarantee a wasted year.
That's Aldridge for you: one really good game in a series to go with 3-4 complete garbage performances.
The guy is talented but has always seemed too moody to be coachable. Probably hates Pop too. That said, no need to give him away, make his ass stay and play and can him at the end of next year unless we get some good offers. I would rather keep him and hope his at ude improves rather than just take a giant hit now just because he has a case of butt hurt.
This has no legs but I am guessing it would be Green/Aldridge for Love/?.
I doesn't make any sense for both teams. 3rd team for Shumpert ?
Trade him for future picks and move on tbh
I'm fine with trading LMA if it improves the Spurs. It's not like we desperately need to dump him right now. I see people propose idiotic trades like Tristan Thompson, a scrub that got overpaid bc LeBron is the GM, and I wonder if people don't get that LMA, and his flaws, is still one of the better players in the NBA. No reason to hurt our team just to dump LMA. Make smart moves, not emotional ones. I'm glad Phil J isn't our GM. Players get emotional. Gotta respond with logic and maturity.
No, not anymore.
We will - or maybe a combination of future pick(s) and a player. I don't believe LMA will ever wear the silver and black again.
Unless they can land Paul and take a run at a championship, that would be stupid. I don't get this obsession with cap space. The '18 free agent class is weak and before you say they can also take on money in a trade, no one is salary dumping a difference maker.
Even if the best they can do, is a Bender or Chriss or someone of their ilk elsewhere, with a decent secondary asset, that's still easily better than losing him for nothing.
