The funniest part is, teams are shooting less free throws per game in today's league than in any other era of NBA history
If you look at league-average team free throw attempts per game, the bottom six seasons are 2012-13, 2011-12, 2014-15, 2016-17, 2015-16, and 2013-14. In the"tough"
'80s and '90s, the average team would routinely flop their way to damn near 30 FTA/game, which would be unheard of nowadays. DK, Bird and Magic were protected to a degree that would make James Frauden jealous.
