More like five he deserved. , the last time Magic won it, Bird put up just as good of numbers coming off of major surgery on his achilles heels and a bad back.

Building off of my last reply to the fudgepacker, Kevin McHale probably should've won the MVP in 87 if not Bird. He couldn't escape Bird's shadow though. The scorer wasn't going to be more heralded than the playmaker. But damn he was so money tjat year.

Bird is barely a top 15 player. All things considered, Dirk is probably the best White Player of all time.

I just don't think he's nimble enough for a guy who likes to spend so much time on the perimeter. Maybe if he develops his 15 feet and in game to a much higher level.
