Meet the lone Republican that voted against Kate's Law in today's vote in the House.
Justin Amash is a Palestinian who represents Michigans 3rd District as a Republican.
When he's not on the House floor, he can be found slithering around the bottom of the D.C. Swamp.

On Thursday, the House voted to pass Kate’s Law.

The law is named after Kate Steinle, an American woman who was shot to death in San Francisco by an illegal alien who had been deported numerous times.

The House passed a total of 2 bills today, which will go a long way in cracking down on illegal immigration.

One of the bills will deny federal grants to sanctuary cities.

The other bill, known as “Kate’s Law,” will severely punish deported aliens who illegally return to the United States.

Twenty-four Democrats voted for “Kate’s Law.”

Justin Amash was the only Republican to oppose it.

Amash is a Palestinian “Republican” congressman who represents Michigan’s 3rd District.

    Michigan, he needs to go.

UNITED STATES Š MAY 10: Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich.

He can afford to be magnanimous, he's never been near that heat.

i can't get behind the second one. i think it's bad policy, bad business

as for kate's law, i dont see it is a make it or break it, "gotta have it" issue. but im good with throwing republicans a bone on that one, especially since it only applies to repeat offenders. i dont know that its necessary, but it makes sense.

i dont necessarily doubt the legality/cons utionality of it (admittedly haven't really thought about it or looked into it). i just think it's not a good policy

How they broke the law to get in and to stay living here
They are continue breaking the law overstaying their vista by not getting out
Or they came over illegal and will not leave unless forced

If you really want to know how or why they on average commit less crime it's because they're afraid of getting arrested because they'll get deported

We need to stop handing out welfare (including Medicaid) to healthy, able-bodied people - they should work. Why the need for illegals for jobs "Americans don't want to do"? Why don't they want to do them - they can get welfare without doing so.
