I have to laugh at any dullard who thinks Donald Trump is serious about being President. The guy is a great self-promoter and he knows reality TV has taken over the minds of the uninformed cretins of America and he's bringing that style to politics. This is his reality TV show and he's the star. He knows you don't seek the Republican party nomination by displaying intellect and knowledge. That's been proven time and time again. You appeal to the lowest common denominator. How do you appeal to the lowest common denominator? You talk tough. You copy the Kardashian way and say/do anything to keep all eyes on you. When someone asks you a tough question you answer in the dumbest way possible. Trump, how are you going to handle illegal immigration? "Build a wall". Dullards eat that up because they want to identify with someone just as stupid as they are. Donald knows this type of psychology exists in the Republican party and he's exploiting it big time. If he actually did somehow win the Republican nomination I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled the greatest troll move of all-time and said something like "I can't believe you morons actually voted me to lead your party"

Rush Limbaugh says he's never seen a Republican president like Trump – one who is unafraid to take the media on and punch back.

"There's no other Republican White House that would ever deal with this like this," Limbaugh told his audience this week after watching a White House press conference. "This is earth-shattering, it's precedent-setting."

Limbaugh noted that for decades the media's liberal political activities went unchallenged — until President Trump.

"For 25 years, 30 years, whatever length of time I've been doing this, I have been focusing attention here on the media, telling people how they operate, who they are, what they do, and what they don't do.

"And how they now have become the organizing power of the American left, not the Democrat Party."

Rather than being objective and balanced, Limbaugh said the "media are now running the operations of the American left."

And President Trump's real threat, Limbaugh argues, is that the media has decided to destroy him at any cost — even if it means making news from fiction.

"It is Fake Media," Limbaugh explained. "The New York Times, the Washington Post are using made-up stuff from synonymous sources and they've been pursuing nothing for a full year."

Limbaugh also has urged conservatives to get the #1 best-selling book of the Trump presidency, "Big Agenda: President Trump's Plan to Save America."

Written by conservative thinker David Horowitz and released the week Trump was inaugurated, it shot to the top of Amazon and has sat for months at the top of The New York Times best-seller list.

Limbaugh praised "Big Agenda", saying it "provides a clear assessment of the challenges the new president faces and a road map for a winning agenda that conservatives will embrace."

"Big Agenda" has become the talk of radio and cable news because of its uncanny predictions about Trump's plans — including his decision to implement a ban on Muslim extremists, stepped-up border enforcement, his deregulation blueprint, and his military build-up.

But Horowitz also warned in "Big Agenda" that former President Barack Obama would create a virtual "government-in-exile" while working with "deep state" bureaucrats he appointed to thwart President Trump's agenda at every step.

"Big Agenda" has become a bible for White House outsiders who want to know what Trump will do next, but also a war plan for "insiders" who have been fighting back against the liberal media establishment that Limbaugh has warned about.

top White House staffers urged them to grovel before the president or the National Enquirer would publish a negative story about them.
“I think we have to talk about it now, because it explains the relationship and his really strange obsession with this show and in particular, his really disturbing obsession with Mika,” Scarborough said.

“We got a call that, hey, the National Enquirer is going to run a negative story against you guys, and

Donald is friends, the president is friends with the guy that runs the National Enquirer, and

they said, ‘If you call the president up and you apologize for your coverage,

then he will pick up the phone and basically e this story.'”

Scarborough said three of the top officials in the Trump administration made the calls, but the TV host refused to call the president and apologize.

“The calls kept coming, and kept coming, and they were like, ‘Call — you need to call, please call, come on, Joe — just pick up the phone and call him,'” Scarborough said.

contributor Donnie Deutsch described the situation as “blackmail.”

“Let me explain what they were threatening,” Brzezinski said.

“They were calling my children, they were calling close friends. They were pinning the story on my ex-husband,

(but) I knew he would never do that.

So I knew it was a lie and they had nothing.

These calls persisted for quite some time, and then Joe had the conversations that he had with the White House, where they said, ‘Oh, this could go away.”

Scarborough said Trump called him during the campaign and boasted that he was friends with Enquirer publisher David Pecker, CEO of American Media, and suggested the tabloid was planting stories to attack his political enemies.

“What makes it even worse for them is

Donald Trump called me during the campaign and bragged about his friend who ran the National Enquirer,” Scarborough said, “and he’d say, ‘Have you seen the Ben Carson story? Have you seen the Ben Carson story? Have you seen the story in the Enquirer,’ and then he’d talk about it.”

The tabloid also published stories suggesting Sen. Ted Cruz’s father was involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and that Jeb Bush was involved in the drug trade.

“There were all these stories planted in the National Enquirer for people that Donald Trump wanted to attack, and then he would talk about it on the campaign trail,” Scarborough said.

“So when we heard it, I said, ‘Oh, so we’ve gone from campaign mode to now trying to attack us.'”

Today, in a joint White House appearance with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, President Trump took the opportunity to malign President Barack Obama by blaming America’s trade deficit for our national debt.

He got the facts completely and embarrassingly wrong.

To Trump, trade deficits are a great evil, but to many economists, they are a mixed bag and can be a net positive.

Trump blames them for job losses (ignoring more serious issues like mechanization and evolving industries), but in 2000, the United States had a relative trade deficit nearly 50% higher than today with a thriving economy and a low unemployment rate of 4 percent.

Trade deficits can also stimulate consumption and investment, which can grow the economy and create jobs.

Still, Trump’s myopic and simplistic focus on was not nearly the extent of his error today.

In a morning meeting with President Moon, Trump said the following

“The United States has trade deficits with many, many countries, and we cannot allow that to continue.

And we’ll start with South Korea right now, but we cannot allow that to continue.

This is really a statement that I make about all trade:

For many, many years the United States has suffered through massive trade deficits; that’s why we have $20 trillion in debt.”

The President’s assertion is patently false. As Zeeshan Aleem reports for Vox, trade deficits and national debts are completely unrelated.

“The US trade deficit refers to the fact that the US imports more from the world than it exports,” Aleem writes.

“The national debt is the result of the fact that the US government spends more revenue than it collects. There’s simply no direct relationship between the two.”

Josh Bivens, the director of research at the Economic Policy Ins ute, told Aleem that “it would be easy to imagine a country with a trade surplus that ran large budget deficits — that’s clearly happened in the past. My guess that right now Germany has a small budget deficit even though they’re running big trade surpluses.”
