I'd prefer they throw Murray into the fire like TP, tbh. Would much rather see the Spurs upgrade the wings and front court.

Slightly different. He just turned 31 last month. Still don't want him regardless, but if it's between he and Iggy, I'm taking Hill.
Not me. At least Iggy can stay on the court. Still more athletic too. That isn't going to decline right away unless he hurts himself.

He's not the best option, but still decent. I wouldn't be too upset. He brings fire which this team needs. Seems like the only guys who brought it in the WCF were Simmons, Manu, and Murray.
You forget Kyle but I expect that.

I am not so much pro Hill as anti-Parker and anti-Mills and anti-Iguodala

I really, really hope Anderson builds upon everything he's been doing and just brings it next year. His shot is faster (which was my main complaint), he's got Diaw-lite skills and it would truly be in his best interests if he just let his balls drop and go for his own. He can still pass while being ball dominant and decisive...

He could be much more than he is, despite his perceived physical limitations.

Even with the Anderson dig ignored, no max player needs a $15-20 Million player backing him up. I have to think the Spurs are willing to give AI an compe ive offer if he's letting them meet with him first.
Anderson dig not ignored by me... I get a feeling about two things:
    1. IF Danny is going out on a trade Iggy meant to start, again IF
    2. IF Simmons comes back with some extravagant offer, again IF, then Iggy is a guy they would rather pay.

Iggy is one of the most versatile defenders in the league. Green's specializes in ones and twos. To have such a versatile defender and keep either Green or Simmons or maybe both, that's a daunting line of defense for any perimeter oriented team in the league. We would also improve in transition and he's a great playmaker and passer.

    some y'all crazy

Yeah, but his age, and mileage.
Wasn't it just last year people were saying he looked done?

And we need athletic playmakers who play defense in the worst way. It really isn't all that bad if he's on a short deal.

Early on he did, but then came back strong. He made big plays all year long. Either way, I'd take my chances with Iggy and Hill (eh..) than TP and Manu at this point, tbh.

Yup that really is the key to the age argument. 2years and a player option.

Good vibes to all tonight. Party the down. Basketball is but a game. We have been sweating bullets with the Flux of how things are.

Smoke a spliff, drink a stiff one. Whatever relaxes you. Relax yourself by any means necessary. .

Guess a player at his age is prefering something longer, as it probably will be his last payday.

It's not like they can sell Andre on joining a Super Team... It's gotta be about money and commitment, for this guy.

As long as the Spurs offer is compe ive they should have a good chance. I believe he'll go to the best combination of money and winning.

Sources told Amico Hoops on Friday that the Spurs are also expected to recruit Shaun Livingston, Iguodala’s teammate with the Warriors.

Shaun should be considerably cheaper than Hill. It'd be funny to see him torturing Curry in the post.

I don't know who thinks Iggy can guard ones and that Green can't guard threes, but those guys are dumb, no offense.
