On the bright side, it (1) may mean they're going to give Murray the reigns and like what they see enough - which would be great vs. paying Hill and (2) Mills' contract rolls off once Murray is up for a new deal.

I don't like the signing in the context of opportunity cost of not using that space on others. But it's not a "bad" deal in the scheme of the rest of NBA deals.

It may signal that Manu is gone, and the team is turning the "locker room reins" over to Mills.
