So it appears the Spurs will operate above the cap. Who might they go after with the MLE?
    Standing pat. Typical Spurs.

So nice to see the Spurs taking Leonard's prime years seriously.

Tim Duncan was willing to leave if the Spurs didn't surround him with a team that can win. The Spurs got lucky with Manu and Tony.

I can for sure tell you you're not going to get lucky with Mills. You need to actually do what Tim Duncan was going to do and leave.

Let's see how far that culture gets them when they're at the bottom of the table. Let's see how many fans come to the AT&T Center when they're at the bottom of the table. I'm pretty sure that even lazy ass SA fans won't even show up for "the culture".

That's what I'm going to call this from now on, "The Culture".

Spurs brought back Patty because George Hill didn't bite at the Spurs' offer. Don't blame the Spurs for bringing back Patty. Blame Hill.
I expect that is right. Hill had no reason to give a discount

Plan now should be to re-up Pau for this $16 Million on a one-year deal, offer Hanga the LLE if the min doesn't work for some reason and use the MLE on a new starting center.
Poor, poor Chinook... you're living in a fantasy land if you think Gasol is signing a one year deal.

I guess we now know who Pop was talking about when he mentioned players having to play different roles that they weren't used to when Kawhi went down. He was making excuses for Mills, not Aldridge like I originally thought.

Simmons not signed yet...he is going to make the rounds. He is taking the best offer...book it. Good for him.

He'd sign a one year deal if worth what his prior deal was worth. He opted out because he didn't want to potentially get exiled to Sacramento.

It may signal that Manu is gone, and the team is turning the "locker room reins" over to Mills.
One can hope... would much rather have Manu than Patty though...

Just heard that if Iggy leaves Warriors, they will go after Rudy Gay. This is scary. He is more potent offensively than Iggy.

That's re ed. If Livingston gets 8 per, that should set the market for patty. Why overpay by 50% plus for the inferior player?
What does it matter that Livingston took a substantial paycut to Patty's value if other teams are willing to offer more? 8 million per isn't Livingston's market value, its what he took to stay on a super team.

The PG market is narrowing. He should have taken that utah deal. No way he gets 20 per season.

I don't know. Wasn't RC gonna meet with Iggy at 12:01?
I think that's bc they don't want to pay JSimms an excessive amount... but that's I guess I don't know cap issues or whatever but I think that's tied to JSimms ultimate destination.

Please please please sign Rudy Gay. He's a high usage chucked who hasn't been good in years. Nowhere near Iggy defensively. And he's coming off an Achilles injury.
