I like the direction the team is headed. I've said it before, this is circa 2000-2002. You build around Kawhi and hope you get lucky with your guys developing into a Manu or TP9. SA is like the worst destination for an FA, so you have to trust Pop and RC will make the right moves within their power. You keep knocking on the door a la TD and eventually beat the Lakers
    Good perspective

Some really good advice I got a long time ago: "Hope is not a plan."

Kawhi's a beast and all that but let's keep things real, he's not Tim Duncan.

Tim Duncan circa 2000-2003 was on par with or better than the player many consider the most dominant in history at his peak. Kawhi is a top 2 player but unfortunately he isnt peak Duncan....not yet at least

    1. Because there are only about 400 people in the world out of 7 billion capable of playing in the NBA
    2. Because you watch it

Pretty obvious tbh...no one is lining up to watch a cop write tickets
No one is lining up to see Paddy shoot 21% in a playoff series either.

I don't disagree but let's give him a couple more years. Considering his year over year improvement...

It wouldn't matter if the was the best player ever. GSW is a far more talented team.

Why are people insisting on calling Mills a '6th Man"?

That is crap and they know it.

Manu was the 6th man. He drove, he was the engine. He ran the offense, he made the plays, he executed the pick and roll, he defended his old ass off

Mills as 6th man is a joke and you all know it

He's the midget version of Blair. No defense and without Manu to make him look good he falls apart

Obama is as historic as any of those folks. He wasn't as important in terms of what he did, but definitely for what he represented. Just like Blake. Obama first black POTUS, Griffin first guy to dunk over a KIA.

Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize after only a few weeks in office. None of those other slackers did that.

Finally gave us the groundwork for a national healthcare system. It'll go through many iterations before this generation of Republican grifters dies off, but the foundations were incredibly important going forward.

Also, whether old people(not referring to Batmanu, just speaking in general) like it or not, Obama's impact towards millennials as the first social media era president is going to resonate for a long, long time, tbh..that's the wave of our world, going forward..
