He's gone tbh. Miami is my guess...
If Stevens weren't in NY, I'd say 100% Miami. Can't underestimate the pull of Riley. But the fact that Stevens is in Boston is huge.
Jazz aren't out of it either. But think if they were his choice he would have already made it. Now is hoping it fades into July 4th.
He seems like a sentimental guy who wants to give Utah a good chuck under the chin before he says goodbye. But then... Utah does look like a really nice team going forward. And living in Boston in the winter sucks.
Can't believe Patfo. I will remember how, much you argued for him all season when he kills in the NBA. POP just horrendous so far. Standing pat, getting older and injured. Half assing the youth movement bc they won't play those guys, not really when it counts, but sure when the veterans can't play in the playoffs then let's see what the young guys, can do.![]()
I think Hayward's staying in Utah and the delay is just to allow him to write (or have someone else write) an open letter to the fans to announce it, as is the trend with today's players. Supposedly he had a direct hand in the Rubio trade. Now players have done that before and then still left (for example, Elton Brand making the Clippers overpay for Baron Davis and then leaving anyway), but Hayward doesn't seem like the type to do that.
The Servant said the same thing about OKC last year before he bolted tbh. Hayward gone IMO....
All I have to say is thank god I m not a Kings fan
Nuggets/Clippers trade incoming.
sounds like the nuggets and clippers are gonna take a dump on some third party
Pop and RC need this team to win 45 games with a healthy-laden Kawhi Leonard leading the way before those jokers make changes to the roster. These 60 win fools gold seasons is what drives the FO to make very few changes. Pop needs to be an eyewitness account before He's willing to believe this team needs talent beyond Leonard. Pop and RC have been hiding behind the brilliance of Tim Duncan for 20 years and now they're finally being exposed for the frauds that they are.
It's pretty incredulous that the FO and Pop see nothing wrong going into a season with a rookie pg who still has a ways to go, a sg who's constantly being shoehorned into the pg position with sub par results, a 40 year old pg that doesn't know when It's time to quit and a 34 pg coming off a ruptured quad that says He'll be better than ever when he returns. Seriously, the only reason the Spurs aren't making a play for Teodosic is because they already know Ginobili is coming back for another season.
With Gallo gone and the Hayward decision looming, we should start to see more dominos start to fall. That's pretty much all the big fish gone now which then triggers plans B-Z for teams.
And Hill to the Nuggets.
So we finally get a wing who can score, maintain our cap space for 2019 AND dump Jamal's useless ass? Yep, Jerry West is officially in charge. Don't care what his le is. Doc could never pull that off.
The Jamal Crawford era in LAC land coming to an end? Tears?
Summer of '19? Is that the year Kawhi can become a free agent?
Dejounte's mentor about to hit the market.
