Aldridge is way better than Randolph at this point in his career.
Are you ing kidding me? The Spurs couldn't have dumped Softridge for a future second rounder and landed Randolph for half the price while opening up another $9 million in capspace?
Aldridge is way better than Randolph at this point in his career.
I like ZBO. ZBO as a backup would have been great off the bench but not as a starter. His defense is terrible and he's even more slow footed now with his older age. Good signing for the Kings. He will be great for them off the bench.
I bet Randolph could score on James Harden on the block.
That post up 43.3% scoring![]()
I thought this was a joke thread. Can't believe BB is seriously upset about the Spurs got getting ZBo. The Aldridge hate has gotten out of control.
Z-Bo is horrible, this isn't 2011, bro
Surprised Memphis let him go, though..he's extremely popular there in the community..
I agree. As bad as he's been the Spurs don't win the Rox series without him.
What is Aldridge's shooting percentage on the low block and/or on fadeaways?
Could have dumped Aldridge for Randolph and gone after Hayward. They're going to have to end up dumping Aldridge at the deadline anyways.
That would have been horrible. The Spurs had the cap space to sign Z-Bo without even trading LMA. Pau might have been one of the few players Randolph could replace in the league. But LMA is way better.
I doubt the Spurs dump LMA at the deadline now. They'll probably be on pace to win in the high-50s again and will be buyers if anything. Maybe Patty, whomever they sign for the LLE and a pick for Hill.
Hes better than pau. And thats a fact. Never seen a seven footer AIRBALL multiple layup attempts in meaningful minutes in the playoffs.
Then they'll lose Aldridge for nothing next summer. I don't care so much about Z-Bo, but he'd be a warm body to play the 4/5 who would have been an upgrade over Lee and would have allowed the Spurs to pursue Hayward to give this team some semblance of offense not entirely dependent on Kawhi.
Is zach older than Tim Duncan.![]()
Okay, lose Aldridge for nothing (who is signing him away?) and be flush with cap space. That's a really bad spot to be in.
I never thought I would say this, but overpaying ZR is good for their culture.
Flush with what capspace? They gave that to Mills and likely Gasol (who is supposed to be signing a long term deal).
This!
People do not realize that Aldridge is as good as a second option as we had in awhile.
Again, cap space for? They don't have the balls to take a chance on Cousins and he's the only potentially available game changer in '18 . . . and before you respond in predictable fashion, no one is salary dumping a game changer.
Obviously, this is a volatile league and a lot can change in a year, but the most likely outcome is probably either Aldridge (having a bounce back season, the relationship being repaired and him getting a raise ) or him being replaced by someone like Favors and Green getting a raise.
I don't know how much he has left, but I believe Pau's definitely better than he showed.
Best second option since 2014-15 Duncan?
Then hes a ty pro for being so out of shape
