I know having 4 Centres (counting LMA) & 4 Point guards is not good roster balance, but I'd be real keen to take a flier on Tiago. He should be available for minimum given he's been chronically injured for 2 seasons. If he actually gets on the court, I still think he could be productive enough given he's only 32, unless his body is just totally cactus.

He ranks among the worst players in the league in virtually all on/off numbers..he's one of the most cancerous players in the league, can't shoot, can't pass, no semblance of team basketball, no defense..

If he accepted a role of scoring punch off the bench, he could work, but he isn't going to buy into that..
The stuff you mentioned is true. But that does make him TERRIBLE. He's still very hard to guard and can drive past anyone. So yeah I was meaning scoring off the bench. If he's even capable of doing that in your opinion, then terrible can't possibly apply to him. Yeah it wouldn't be certain he could buy into that but he's capable and that is the key word in this situation. Terrible is someone like Anthony Bennett

It's ri-damn-diculous how GS is continuing to improve. Casspi on a league min deal??? WTF man. That is the type of wing SA should be stockpiling for depth.

i'm not even sure i've ever seen rose pass the ball to porzingis.

hopefully the spurs have moved on. the spurs bench won't be big enough for rose + parker.

Brooklyn the team that consistently maxes role players that their current team has to match. They are a mess. lol But the jokes on me. When Washington matches next will be KCP, then Simmons.

i hate this new NBA man. People just ain't built like they use to. I feel for the Jazz for real though. Could've been us with DRob and Duncan. We should be concerned about Kawhi if he doesn't sign the Supermax when he's available. This new NBA generation wants to play with friends and group up. Even a guy like Hayward left a great organization like Utah. Well at least they have done well drafting and surrounding him with talent. They just made the 5th seed after not making the playoffs. Bright future and he still leaves. Spurs on notice...

The thing that worries me about Gay is that OKC has the MLE IIRC, and they still need more. That takes the Spurs out the running -- or at least it should. Dunno where the team would pivot after that. Evans? Still wondering if the team has an outstanding offer to Dedmon, whose market has been so bad that I'm not sure he's worth the full MLE anymore.

Would love Evans. Probably plan b after Simmons. They have a similar game.

Evans is actually five days younger than Simmons. But Spurs can keep Simmons and get a MLE guy, or get Evans and have less/no remaining MLE.

It's actually smart. Washington has to match so why not force team in your division to overpay?
