Hopefully Cleanthony Early plays tonight.
I would like to see this starting lineup:
Murray at point
White at shooting guard
Cleanthony at small forward
Bertans at power forward
Cory Jefferson at center
This gives us some size and shooting, and some leadership and familiarity with Bertans, Murray and Jefferson all playing in the dleague together at some point. Build off the chemistry, and get a good look at some promising prospects.
Is Hayward playing for the Celtics tonight?
Murray will show why he's been posting all those "Im on my grind" videos on IG! Lol
Livio should start in place of Whittington. Boston was running Tatum at the five in the game on Monday. Dude deserves a longer look and a harder defensive assignment. Blossomgame needs to start again for a similar reason. He has to cut his teeth on D if he's to have any chance. Don't really care about Forbes versus White. You can make an argument for both, and even Hanlan.
Jaylen Brown was killing it against the 76ers. Whoever matches up against him good luck.
Agree for Livio, but i prefer to see more White than both Forbes and Hanlan.
He's a more interesting prospect if not an outright better player than those guys, but he's also someone who's currently projected to be the bench play-maker. So having him in that role wouldn't be bad. And it could be like Simmons was for the Spurs SL team in 2015.
Ok i understand i'm ok with that. Hope to see Jefferson too the only big who seems interesting in this summer league.
Anyone know why Hanga is not playing in the summer league? Is he coming over or what? Thx
It's been super quiet on all Spurs fronts. All the Euros, no word...
I didn't like him last game. He did exactly was I was concerned Early would do: He took bad shot after bad shot selfishly trying to boost his numbers. He looked better than Fecesington. But he wasn't the type of big I wanted to see Murray, White and Forbes play off. Hopefully Cady is better at that when he plays.
I know. His godawful chucks from three early in the shotclock and not in the flow of the offense.
Yes that's my worry he shoots too much, he needs to play more inside. Agree that we need more of a rim protector.
he might have a chance in the NBA if he just focused on being a finishing big that bring a spark off the bench. It's just he know haw to dominate the DLeague but not the NBA. It doesn't translate.
I don't mind him shooting. I mind him breaking off motion sets to take an out-of-rhythm three early in the clock.
I really want to see more from Blossomgame. The last game, I don't know if it was nerves but he seemed hesitant and was not aggressive at all. White was interesting last game but I think his lateral movement on defense is concerning. I expected to see just more burst from him but he doesn't change gears really well which is concerning for a point guard.
I'm sure they'd give him a standing O at that gym in Salt Lake City.
If they did... they would be the greatest fans in the league right now.
Like any SA fan is going to cheer LMA, even still on the team!
Would be epic troll move for him to come and sit with his new teammates. But I'm pretty sure Jazz fans would not let him out alive. Can't wait until Boston/Jazz game.
Me either. I would rather see more of Benitl if that's how they are going to play.
Ultimately, while Im excited to watch all of them, Murray is the only one I care about. He has to be a rotation player this year.
White could be getting minutes over pan-flash with his more mistake-free and heady play...
This kid bears attention. He's a guy Pop could trust. A dude who, while not an Earth-burner, makes less mistakes and you know Pop's thing:
The team that makes less mistakes, wins.
