Is it worse than fundamental Christianity?
fundamentalist islam is as bad as it gets
Is it worse than fundamental Christianity?
it's at least as bad
i dont care to nitpick between the worst of the worst, usually. neither has a place in our society/world.
Do you not think the WTC bombers were in the US?
When were you born?
Give an example of a fundamental Christian sect and compare their antics with fundamental islam.
Did you get all your editing done yet Philo?
if you weren't constantly hammering the refresh key anticipating my responses, the ~30 second delay between my post and the edit wouldn't be so problematic
i dont really think there's an active fundamentalist christian sect. do you want me to go back historically?
i would categorize a fundamentalist sect as one where their legal/justice system is derived from their scripture
he brings up 9/11 like it makes him look smart to invoke the godwins law of islamophobes
dont you have anything from the past 15 years involving actual us residents?
this is an easy answer, and if you were reading my posts instead of dissecting whether my alt-accusations are accurate you could have answered this a lot better.
fundamental christians are just as bad as fundamental islamists in the middle eastern and african holes where fundamental islam is actually practiced. christians over there regularly kill children rumored to be witches, execute people for adultery and heresy, and all of the same backwards bull that goes on with muslims in those areas but that you dont hear about because christians are a small minority over there and dont have the numbers or oil reserves to create their own terrorist groups.
its a 3rd world hole problem not a religion problem.
if you did a better job of wiping semen out of your eyes you'd see that i was specifically referring to places where their legal/justice system is derived from scripture
i have no doubts that there are homicidal nutjobs of all varieties
What a crock of![]()
still relevant. you dont think those holes consider their village rules a legal/justice system? if they had majorities in any of those countries, it would be the same at the national level.
as if there are no christian majority countries in africa or the middle east
Are you going to do back for the fundamental Islamists?
Compare most fundamental Christian sect today vs most fundamental Islamist sect.
21, I know you want to cite the Crusades with your "historical" reference. Just know that they were a response to 400 YEARS (that's right 400 big ones) of Islamic oppression. Also keep in mind they were taking back their land - Jerusalem. Oppression is a nice word for slaughter, rape, and pillaging on a massive scale. Also, it was (guess who?) the corrupt Catholics and the Pope doing the ordering. I'm absolutely convinced there is nothing new under the sun.
forget the crusades. look at the spanish inquisition.
i'm not turning this into a christian vs muslim pissing contest regarding which is better or worse. i think religious fundamentalism is the enemy.
Another Catholic adventure.
difference without a distinction
Guess you never heard of Fort Hood, San Bernadino, your friends at the gay nightclub in Orlando...
All that just float right over your pine knot head?
the "they" means the kinds of christians who stone children and practice old testament christianity. but no, there aren't any christian majority countries in the middle east, and none in africa anywhere near the middle east.
look, just go read up on nagaland and come back after.
when you look at the average christian person in the US who preys, goes to school/work, goes to church, and goes to sleep... and the average muslim person in the US who does the same (maybe with a few more prayers and different diet), i don't think either person is any more or less dangerous based on which book they like to read at night.
suddenly youve invented a new conversation out of thin air that we werent having.
go reread the thread and try again, idiot.
though small, cyprus is a christian majority country in the middle east. armenia borders turkey and iran.
