The case had nothing to do with right to carry. It had everything to do with "don't reach for the gun". There's no 2nd Amendment right to "reach for the gun".

The jury's decision and your feelings about it are irrelevant. The NRA has fought court decisions many times in the past. That they had nothing to say about this shooting in the many months prior to the decision speaks volumes given their hyperbole about everything else remotely related to the subject of gun rights.
