I'd like to know what happed between Gay and GS.
Did the Warriors back off from risk? Or were the Spurs able to offer more?
Kyle sucks for himself. He hasnt taken advantage of any opportunity to be a difference maker on this team.

That was also an era when he was the main guy and expected to put up 20 ppg
Pretty good price and a short term deal. Hopefully he has more left than I think but it is worth the risk.
This is like if we signed 2012 RJ. Not bad but not great.
Upside : 2012 RJ
Downside : 2004 Glenn Robinson
Depends how you look at it..there's a double-standard on this forum where people gushed over Simmons for his decent series vs. GS, yet ignore that Anderson played well against them in the same series(personally, I think it was clearly a meaningless series once Kawhi went down, but still, obvious double standard)..
We will be ok says our 19+ years of stellar play! Just needs to be a serviceable cog.
PATFO doing work it's about time, anything that gets fathead off the floor![]()
You're so silly!!!
If I were the Dubs I'd rather have Swaggy P. He's quicker and can run more
I don't actually believe in curses, my guyI just think it's pretty funny that every team(minus the Kings) has noticeably improved during the 1st post-Gay season and all the teams he joins subsequently fall apart.. that has some serious bad luck..

Really didn't think about that but this is good news.
I'm actually dubious about this. He's a guy who kind of torpedoes teams. He doesn't add anything overall and has put up empty stat. But it's not a bad move given the state of the team and league right now.
They chose swaggy p instead.
He can't take the Golden God's #22 jersey number.
Rudy will be Kawhi's backup. He's a SF and Pop doesn't start small line ups.
If he can avoid being a compulsive low 40's chucker, that's a great backup for Kawhi and might be good in situational small line ups.
Still hardly enough to beat the super Ws.
He also showed flashes in the RS vs GSW. He is a commodity vs the Warriors whether you like it or not.
Spurs were fortunate to win 61 games last year. We can be a better team and still win less. It's called variance.
