1 year vet minimum, second year team option. That's what I'd offer Drose.

Spurs will be a solid contender if they sign Drose. Spurs need a guard that can attack the basket and create for teammates. I think his style of play will fit Spurs better than CP3.

I agree. I really wanted Spurs to get Rose. But after signing Mills, idk. I'm all for basket attackers. With Bryn Forbes looking half decent, we may be good at pg. I wouldn't mind bringing back D.Lee. Javele McGee looks good. Did GS resign him..is he under 10mill a year? We're gonna need some rim protection.

Forbes is alright, I still want Murray over him. Murray have the length to compete with bigger guards. I like for the Spurs to bring back D.Lee, he play's hard all the time. Regarding Javele, Warriors resigned West and Pachulia, I am pretty sure they will resign him as well. He's a fans favorite here in the bay. He will be a a solid rim protector for Spurs if it happens.

He would instantly be the best guard on our roster.

Has Rose expressed interest in the Spurs? do the Spurs have any interest? It's a perfect fit with Parker being out till January and when Parker returns Pop can rest or play both.

So does the FO want to sign Rose because there is no rumblings about him wanting to sign here. He fills a need this team needs right now but if his asking price is to high that could be why the FO will pass (ACL, injurys). Still at least contact him and see if he wants to be a Spur a 1 year deal with a 2nd year team option seems win/win. It would be pretty sad if the Mavericks signed him when the Spurs need him more.

Mavs are probably much more likely to afford him than we are. If I were him I'd go where there's money to be made. And if he signed here for the vet min what point is there in playing him when Parker is back and we've got him Patty/Murray/White for him to also compete with? Idk if it'd be worth it for Rose. If he signs with Dallas he's probably going to start all season and at worst be a 6th man if Dennis Smith is that good.

Yeah, he was hoping for another max at the beginning of last year.
Now? He's hoping to squeeze blood out of a rock, at this point.

We really screwed ourselves by giving Patty the amount of money he is getting paid. That single move put the whole organization at a disadvantage now at point guard because we either have to put our faith in a rookie or sop re guard. Patty is not a point guard. He isn't even really a shooting guard because he hasn't shot as well as he used to before the surgery on his shoulder. I really do not know what the FO was smoking when they offered him that obscene amount of money. Loyalty is one thing but to say he is irreplaceable is just plain and stupid. We don't even have the money to offer DRose what he thinks he should be getting paid thanks to RC Buford going "full re ".
