Yet he played the 6th most minutes.

    Everything you say is wrong.

Stop got. You don't wanna lose any shot of saving face since you just started posting. I'll let you go this time.
Yeah, some guy named Kawhi was injured, so Simmons got the bulk of those minutes.

Also, "let me go"? Delusions of grandeur, tbh.

With this, I hope we can get Simmons back and that Manu sees the writing on the wall and goes out to pasture. I couldn't bare watching Pop stay loyal to Manu and give him any significant time.

Also, please someone just ing pay Pau so we dont have to.

broken bones are a different animal than a torn tendon. recovering from a broken bone is incredibly routine and in fact they heal stronger than the original bone. that's simply not a comparison. the only time a broken leg becomes seriously problematic is when you have artery/nerve damage
Really? Even when it's that severe? I'd imagine there's a load of screws involved. My brother broke his leg when he was young and he still runs funny to this day. Granted that was in the early 90s and Mexican healthcare.

Yeah I can only recall 2 that came back from similar injury and were serviceable but not the same player and that was Dominique and Kobe.

Well, he shot 37% from 3 last season. Not horrible I guess. Let's hope he improves on that under the Spurs system.

Rudy Gay is a very interesting signing. I hope that he plays small ball four and that this is a sign that Pop is moving to small ball going forward. As others have pointed out, LMA doesn't work well with other big men.

His shooting was actually his biggest asset, last season, especially as a 4 IMO..37% on 4 attempts and 1.06 PPP as a spot-up shooter..unfortunately, the Achilles tear will probably kill his J(based on history)..

Yes, because the person who can barely string more than ten words together and adding an emoticon is the paragon of intelligence and truth.

I do hope that you're right with regards to Murray (assuming that you're high on him), but I'm done with this argument. We'll see who's right going forward.

Wilkins was still good and 2nd year post-Achilles Matthews was serviceable IMO..Kobe was one of the worst players in the league, I hope Gay doesn't look like he did,tbh

No one would be happier if it pans out than me. But the excitement here over a player who has relied on his athleticism to score and who's coming off of a career-ending injury is totally misplaced. People need to adjust their expectations here.
Because no one who made it to the NBA, made it due to there lack of athleticism right!!! Come On He is not a franchise player we all know that.. Let the fans including myself be excited for once this offseason.. its been so bad I have been watching the SPURS summer league games.

I'm actually part of the biggest movements on the Spurs. I joke around every once a while but when talking basketball, my takes are top tier.

Ask Danny Green who has been with the team 7 years.

I hope he is the future of the SPURS or leads to something better... He shows flashes for sure! But man is he raw at this early stage in his career.. -- Dejounte Murray, practicing this summer w/ KL is a heck of a good start.

He's very young, but he does have some of that "wow factor" Kawhi had. No denying that. Also the confidence to along with him. The tools and confidence will go a long way. Dude also has the ambition. Bet on the kid is all I'm saying.

Interesting move. Maybe Pop is countering small ball with power small ball. I know Gay is a strong mf and could be a handful for Kawhi.

Yeah. Kawhi is a load for the Warriors. Gay and Kawhi together could work.

Get back to me after you take a look at what happened to Kobe, Elton Brand, Chauncey Billups, Brandon Jennings and/or Christian Laetrner after their Achilles exploded.

Are you suggesting this gots game isn't dependent on his athleticism?
Youre a re . Only 2 of those players were worth a damn and it happened at the end of their careers. And yes. Hes not coming to iso town. Look at the players succeeding on the spurs. None of these guys are breaking any speed or agility records. Carry on
