They had an obvious handshake agreement with Pau. Opt out and we'll pay you the same one way or another. They aren't going back on that. I was hopeful another team would sign him, but that's really unlikely given the lack of money out there right now.

Jabari was just interviewed at SL and dodged the question about why Murray was not playing. He did say that Murray appears to be ahead of White even after the poor 2 games.

Said he's heard nothing from LMA and fully expects LMA to be a Spur this year. Said Dedmon likely gone, but SA wants Simmons back and they will likely just run the same team back plus maybe a couple vets.

Yeesh.

One question since I didn't watch the game tonight or that interview... If he's going to be involved in a trade doesn't it make sense his minutes were controlled/managed to minimize risk and that if it's imminent he be pulled from SL?

They decided to go young and reup Patty. It wouldn't make a ton of sense to sign another guard. The system and leveraging Kawhi, Gay, LMA and Pau's scoring abilities will have to do.
