That 73 win team added a top 2 or 3 player in the NBA. One of the most efficient and best scores to ever play the game.... who was also doing a great job defensively.

They were that much better is the simple answer. We jumped to a big lead against them in our last meeting of the regular season and ended up getting our doors blown off.

I think we maybe get one more in that series but it's one more or we get the backdoor sweep. There are not really any other reasonable scenarios.

It's like with the RJ trade. I was happy they made a move, but whether it works or not is entirely different. I had hope for the first RJ deal. This one I have very little expectations of. Hope to be surprised though.

They are the most talented by far. Probably ring regardless of other teams health. But this GOAT talk and automatic assumption that they woudve just backdoor swept the Spurs is pessimistic BS.
