Spurs have never shown interest in Tyreke. My guess is they didn't even reach out.

I can't believe we didn't hear any interest in A Bradley.

His 9 mil salary is the biggest hurdle. My guess is pop would rather keep Green over him. Spurs still going to give Pau a bunch of money.

You realize Pop himself would tell him to take the money just like he did with Boban, right? Life is more important than basketball, dummy.
Pop, the guy who drives down player's numbers during the season so he can try and sign them for a cheaper price? That same Pop?

Tony Parker telling Dedmon after he has a game with a big double double - what are you doing, we're trying to re-sign you.

He's not a great outside shooter at the two guard -- that's the only basketball (as opposed to salary, etc.) reason I can think of.

No . It's not like the Spurs gave him his other worldly athleticism and his ability to get to the basket. The Spurs took a low risk-high reward gamble on a guy with potential and Juice seized that opportunity. He deserves to take all the money that comes his way.

lol, he was a ing mess. Sure he had athleticism, but that didn't get him anywhere until the Spurs signed him. The Spurs worked hard to help clean up his game. On another team, he probably would have been out of the league by now, or if not, certainly not in position to make this kind of money IMO.

That's an assumption. Him telling Boban to take the money and run is a confirmed fact. Him valuing life over basketball is well do ented.

And he rewarded the time they put into him by outperforming the bargain deal he was on. He was a key player during the WCF run on like a 500k salary. He doesn't owe them anymore.

Last few days in Utah, kept hearing how #Celtics were intrigued by #Spurs free agent Dewayne Dedmon...wonder if the interest is mutual
Boston's checking couch cushions to get enough money under the cap to get Gordon in, and they're somehow going to get Dedmon too? Come on Jabari, use your brain.

I want Simmons to get paid, but the Spurs better not give him 9 mil per if the market for Evans is at 3 mil per.
Manny preaching. Would take Evans and run for three million per.

Spurs jumped on him as soon as they could. He played one game and got an offer, I think he was on his way to a summer league game for another team when they offered. If they hadn't, he was definitely making a team and could have had more playing time to develop on a worse team.

He doesn't owe them anything, they didn't invite him to try out, he paid his own way. He deserves all the credit and rewards on his own.

Evans contract is such a bargain for memphis. We're going to pay Simmons 3x that to retain him and Evans is the better player right now. (though price tag is based on evans' durability issue)

Bargain, but evans isnt that much better. Dude played for like 9 crappy teams last year. Just pay simmons for a few years, you know what youre getting, and he will work hard.
