Lol disguise.
It's possible have both hate for religion and care for my fellow humans. Which i do. The two go hand in hand tbh.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the constant threads. Why do some Atheists feel like they have to attack Christianity to validate their beliefs or lack of? I have a hunch, but I want to hear from actual atheists.
Looks like you fell for the fake news. 'Travel ban' has nothing to do with religon and everything to do with terrorism. You OTOH pretending Islamic terror doesn't exist and calling everyone who acknowledges such a phobe is a 'sad kind of funny'. Deflecting to the Catholics is not going to solve your irrationality.
It's society I'm worried about.
But try to make it about me some more. That'll win the thread.
Seriously? Christians try to push their re ed bible beliefs on society through politics.
poor persecuted American Christians can't pray in school and have to go to the bathroom with caitlyn jenner
4th loser response = "rent free" when someone replies to a post where you quoted them
no ones buying it, got
I think it's the new atheist who does this mostly as they feel they've stumbled upon something extraordinary. It's the same type of personality that proselytizes regardless their belief or lack thereof. Getting into a debate about religion or the existence of a god is one thing, but actively pursuing the matter in a way that just annoys the out of both sides is the mark of someone who needs medication/psychiatric help.
The assertions and arguments for and against are well known to both sides (the educated ones) so there is rarely any new ground covered. As society creeps forward though, the mysticism of religion is being replaced by the religious concession and compromise in their once firm held beliefs. Today the Bible is only an allegory to many theists. To many atheists, that's a great thing, but there's still work to do. Both sides seem to agree that the OT morality and ethics are not acceptable today, so that's a field of battle where both sides meet to fight over literal interpretation vs "learned" exegesis.
There was some religious group collecting money at Braun/1604 today. I gave them $2 to leave me alone.
The way Christians terrorize.
Spoiler, if you drive away without paying they'll still leave you alone.
Are you implying Christians are trying to convert people through politics or simply defending their beliefs from politics infringing upon them? Muslims coming here: complaining about the culture and wanting it to conform to them seems about as silly as Christians trying to convert people through legislature. Some atheists seems to get equally as offended when they 'hear' prayer in school, and 'see' things like "In God We Trust" on a police car. You can't expect everyone to assimilate to your outlook when your emotions get triggered.
I agree. I will admit the second paragraph went well over my head![]()
Lol what theists? Message board theists maybe but that's about it.
Most religions say the bible is the literal word of God front to back.
You're pretty ignorant tbh.
No, Christians politicians push their political agendas I'm guessing both from their own bible beliefs and from pressure from religious groups. Like in Texas right now with that re ed bathroom bill.
No, I don't know any Christians trying to convert people through politics.
Thank God we live in a representative Republic where we can vote. That way you can cross out that Christian politician on your ballot and vote your conscience. The problem with the bathroom thing is that you're expecting everyone to play ball and be good goys. There are some crazy ed up people out there and thats why we have these bills to protect our children.
I just wanted their pamphlet so I could hold it up to the window the next time I drive through there.![]()
Lol back to thebut kids mught get hurt
I'm more concerned if a Catholic priest goes in after a young boy than I am some tranny in a skirt
....which both concerns are near zero.
well, if you're anti-religion and you live in a christian majority country, i'm sure your main gripe would be with christianity. i dont think that's really a startling revelation
Meh, I understand the criticism. Catholic priests diddling kids. Westboro babtist re s. Etc, etc.
But, you'd have to admit that religious conservatism has been losing the culture war for years. Even the bluest state of California voted against gay marriage and the courts overruled the voters. Just seems like selective outrage, tbh, especially in light of the very real atrocities committed in the name of Islam on the daily.
i get what you're saying, but the point i was making isn't that christianity is "the worst." but if one's goal is to maximize the separation of church and state... in the US, christianity is the biggest direct threat to that concept.
24% of Americans believe the bible in a literal sense.
That's hardly "most".
But go ahead, idiot. Keep the hyperbole machine going. Tweak right the off. You're living proof that atheism is just another "don't know" position.
