tp is a spurs legend but i am just SO past the idea that trading him is beyond civility.

if the spurs had to sign and trade manu to make cp3 work... i would not have been against it.
Dude, you would have traded Parker for a picture of yourself taking a face-fart, by an 80 year old and you know it.
    Lord...

he said that right after it happened only because espn by default are inclined to lick PATFO ass and any move they make just like they do with the patriots. if he still felt it was good he would have mentioned it somewhere but any idiot can see they panicked given the signings that have since transpired.
espn had also overrated this FA, by a landslide. They projected Patty to be between 12-17 m initially (b4 FA truly began) so him signing on the low end of their estimated figure made the contract look good devoid of any context.

Once we look at the landscape and context, it changes things, not just because so many better guards went for comparable figures, but also bc of the length of the contract, and the fact the Spurs have drafted point guards twice in consecutive seasons, and have prospects that are very similar to Patty already for a fraction of his contract.

Who would want Parker's contract and injury status? You would have to take back some seriously crappy contracts and players.
just saying the spurs unwillingness to move tp is nonsensical. i've been on board for moving that contract way before injury.

The Warriors' front office gets it. A good screener like that dirty mother er is a good enabler for ball movement. Something the Spurs lacked since the departures of Duncan, Splitter and Baynes.

For s sake, just take a punt on Bogut if the price is cheap. Maybe Patty hates him, but if he improves the team, just take a chance.

You'd think the league would catch up to the fact that part of the Warriors superiority, besides pure talent, is their legit attention to great/and/or/illegal screens.
It opens up so much when a screen is performed perfectly, or illegally (non-call) to set up a shot, or a play.

Our weak-ass BS screens set by PunkMA and PunkAsol without even rolling hard are detriments to the overall plays that are trying to be executed.

Nobody is catching up with this yet.

Say what you want about Gilbert, but not many owners would fork over the cash he has the past seasons and this next season (looking damn near 200M in salaries + taxes )

And yet he's effing around with the GM position at this delicate time with his cash cow...

Anyone can turn and say Lebron is the GM, but come on... GM's may follow what he wants, but there at least has to be a facade of competence in the FO. I know he would like to see at least that.

Whats the story behind MVPaddy hating Bogut? Pretty sure I saw a tweet where Bogut congratulated him for his contract.

Nah dude, you've spent so many hundreds, maybe thousands of posts of your desire to get Parker out by any means possible...
You'd eat a granny fart, for sure.

!00% sure and you really shouldn't puss out now bro.

Time to show that conviction you've displayed for forever and so many many posts.

Jeff Green as a realistic comparison for post-Achilles Gay is probably accurate, sadly

Bowen, Jackson, Nazr, Green, Belinelli, Butler (shouldn't have been cut)...

Spurs have made a living off of guys who bounced from team to team.

Granted, we are also hoping to the do the same with Gay, and have to hope he doesn't turn into another KMart experiment.
    OMG I hope not.
I still have nightmares over Kmart.

Derrick Rose would be so perfect for the team that recently acquired Rondo and Deron Williams, tbh if the Spurs part ways with TP(1% chance), he'll probably join the Mavs, next season, too..
