Spurs summer league team this season is going home early IMO. They were very unimpressive except Forbes and he's going to cool off.

They weren't significantly better in 2015 coming out of Utah. Anderson was the only one how had actual good games. Livio and Dairius had decent games. But it wasn't until Simmons came in and Becky took over that guys like Ndoye started playing better. I'm not as optimistic about this year given that nothing is going to change. But I'm hoping we're at least going to have another 2013 on our hands where Cory played well and DeShaun Thompson scored a bunch of points while the team bowed out in the first round:

I mean, SA has Murray/Bertans/Forbes who all played numerous games at a decent level in the actual NBA. They should be fine.

You'd be surprised. The 2013 team had Baynes, Cory and De Colo and still sucked. It also had Hollis Thompson

2014 had Kyle, Daye and Ayres and was awful. Also had JaMychal Green on it.

Last season was about as talented as the SA has had in Vegas, and that amounted to nothing.

As you said, that season the team changed, from Utah to Las Vegas they got reinforcements (last season they also got reinforcements). Anderson may also be better than any player in this current team in all likelihood... Guys will never recognize it bc poor dude has a trolling legion, but he was MVP of the SL for a reason. JSimms also played very well. Both guys were very consistently productive, and moreover, they had a lot of chemistry among them and the rest of the guys. I think Anderson is a special leader but obviously guys will never recognize it here.

Also, they got a coaching upgrade from Utah to Vegas in Becky.

So, I don't think they will get very far. If Dijon shows us some flashes with a few scoring explosions and his shooting % trends up, then they have a chance but so far... I don't see them getting far. I haven't seen anything impressive from Will Hardy either.

Once the Spurs sent Kyle home bc he "graduated" they amounted to nothing let's be honest.

    That said, changing the subject...
I hope Dijon bounces up (can't even say bounces back, bc he hasn't trended up yet). Probably the one guy I cared to see play well here, I already know what Forbes and Davis can do.

Lonzo Ball stealing SloMo's nickname from him. (Must be a UCLA thing.)

We'll soon see whether the future of the PG position is skinny and slow (like Ball) or skinny and fast (like De'Aaron Fox and Dejounte Murray).
