I like Ingram, always have. Hope he doesn't go wasted with the Lakers.

Lonzo, I'm really not sure. I think as the pressure lowers, he will play better. Worried about that shot against pros, but Martin used to get away with it. Time will tell. I'll have to see real game play before I bust him out. The majority of players play bad in SL tbh. Nothing new.

The Lakers picking him was classic showtime. They felt they needed a star. But this kid is basically a star because his idiot father kept shooting his mouth off. He is not a star because of anything he did at UCLA. They didn't win and as usual in this day and age he only played one year.

Damn Ingram did look great. Good handles, fluid, nice looking shot. Couple that with his length and that dude could be special, tbh.

Who is Jeannie Buss going to blame for Lonzo Ball? (She's running out of people.)

Ingram is gonna be a perennial All-Star if he keeps his head on straight. Lonzo looked lit hot steaming tonight but it's one game. His dad makes me want to root against him though.

He sees the floor extraordinarily well. As long as he has players around him I think he will thrive. He's quicker than Anderson but not quick enough now to guard points. His on ball D needs serious work. At UCLA they allowed him to roam and free lance because he has exceptional ball hawking recognition. But we saw what happened against Kentucky. Off the ball he is very good on both ends. He also must hit the weights.

I think he works out if used properly.

And yes, it would be nice if he failed ... Just to see his Dad try to spin it. The black Donald. He will try to sell you over cooked steak.

i think ball is not much of a prospect tbh, doesn't have the speed or wingspan to be an all star level player, but the jury is still out on him being productive.

Does not look like he will be an elite scorer in the NBA. People keep talking about his passing, but I thought in todays game your PG now had to be a huge scoring threat?

    Lonzo looked shook

my Ingram tho. Magics comment probably lit a fire in his ass. He was showing leadership skills last night, barking at Zu and others for missing defensive assignments

That jumpshot will not work in the NBA. It's his first summer league game but he didn't look like he belonged on the floor.

You hate to go crazy on one summer league game, but yes his jump shot technique is trash. Lots of work to be done there. And I am not seeing an elite athlete in this kid. He does not look fast or explosive to me, so he can get to the rim consistently. If his jump shot is weak, and he can't penetrate well, what can he do?

There is enough there to see he is going to have some major issues as a rookie. Starting with he can't guard anyone. Could not play D in college either..

He's 19 with. No real conditioning other than Lavar Ball's 101 exercise

You'll be amazed what one NBA off-season can do. Ingram was slow, unathletic, malnourished who struggled with shooting this time last year. See the progress now.

maybe you're forgetting he had one of the worst rookie seasons of all times...
